A/n: Song at the top is just to set a mood for the chapter.
A few years later
Nicole's P.o.v.
After 3 years of living with Kilo, I packed my bags, getting ready to go meet Fred. He rented a place that we can live in together where he stays, so we are both going to help pay parts of the bills together.
I sighed after bringing my luggage downstairs, and carrying my hand luggage, which has 3 Nutri-Grain bars, my small blanket, my headphones, my phone, 2 water bottles, and my plane tickets.
I saw Kilo on the phone, looking angry and troubled all at once. Uh-oh, bad news I'm guessing.
"Hey, Kilo, I'm ready. Where's your sister, I want her to help me bring these things to the car." I said smiling lightly because I'm not so happy about leaving the guy who took me in and helped me when I needed a place to stay when I got away from my dad.
He wrapped up his conversation on the phone with a, "Yeah, I'll tell her. Thank you...okay, bye." He looked at me up and down before saying, "You look stunning. I hope that Fred will like it just as much as I do." I looked to the ground and said, "Me too."
He came closer to me and moved a strain of hair away from my face. He smiled a little making me smile a little. His smile suddenly faded into sadness. "Nicole. I have some bad news." He told me taking my soft hands into his slightly rougher ones.
"What is it?" I asked with worry eyes. He took a deep breath and said, "You know how your father got out of prison 2 weeks ago?" I nodded my head yes. "Well...the cops found him on the ground of his kitchen...dead."
I gasped covering my mouth with my hands. I may hate my father, but I never wanted him dead! He was supposed to attend me and Fred's wedding, then seek therapy. "How?" I finally asked after tears escaped my eyes. Kilo wiped my tears and said, "They said that he committed suicide and left a suicide note for you. They want you to pick it up, but I told them that you have a plane to catch today, so I'll mail it to you." I ran into his arms and hugged him tightly while silently crying. "I...I d-didn't...w-w-w-want this...to h-h-happen." I hiccuped into his arms. "No one did." He whispered into my ear, still hugging me.

Sorry for the sad way to end this book, but stay tuned for the epilogue. I'm so sorry that you guys actually have to read this shit, unless you like it :)
Song at the top is just to set a mood for the chapter, I just want to remind you even though I said it in the beginning of the chapter. I hope that Nicole gets through it. After all, it's been 3 whole years since the incident.
We've been through alot in this book, ups and downs, and mostly downs, but we finally got through and to the end. Ugh, I don't even think that I can continue this author's note 😢 . I'll talk to you guys when you get up to the next and probably second to last author's note on the epilogue. Love ya, and stay perfect <33333
