I started to frantically look around before having a mini panic attack. Now, you may be thinking, "Why can't she just go home, she's old enough to..." but you have no idea how much being lost in this mall has scarred me. Also, I have no idea how to get from my place to the mall, or even from the mall to my house.
I tried my best to find the closest juice bar, but all I saw was dress and sneaker shops. After looking around some more, then I suddenly saw a mini cafe, which I ran to, feeling like this panic attack is going to kill me. I asked out of breath, "P-p-p-please...water--water...I can't...bre-ath..." I choke out making the lady quickly run into the back and come back with bottled water. Even though I'm strict about the type of water that I drink, I didn't even look at the label, I just snatched the water bottle from her hand and gulped it down.
She looked at me with so much concern as she saw me busting the water down. "Are you okay?" She finally asked me while looking at me, shocked. I slammed the water on the table and started to breath heavily. "I'm...okay now." I breathed out, feeling my chest start to open up from tightening. I put my hand on my chest while still breathing heavily. "I'm glad you are, now that'll be $1.50..." She finally said making me look at her with anger because I just now almost died and all she thinks about is making a sale, which is probably not true, she's probably just making sure that she saves someone's life and saves her job at the same time.
I pulled put two dollars from my wallet and received 50 cents back. "Are you kidding me?" I asked, while looking at her with a confused look on her face. "Keep the change, you saved my life!" I told her with a smile on my face. "Thanks, I guess." She said while smiling and looking at the change while playing with it a bit. "At least I get a tip for that. People can be so greedy and selfish around here." She commented. Yeah, I know how some people can be, but I don't really call them out. I waved goodbye and started walking before I realized that I'm still lost. Instead of me to have another panic attack, I started to walk into a store that had some nice dresses and casual clothes. Jasmine told me the store that they went to so I already know, but I don't know where it is. I could be close or even far, this place is really huge. I started looking around at the different clothes that presented themselves to me in a heavenly way. Then suddenly I ended up in front of the checkout line, but no one checked out just yet, so I was the only one in line.
William's P.o.v
So when we got to the side of the mall that sold only guy suits and shoes, all the guys left me alone and started to dash inside the store, some even taking out their phones to call their dates. You know, I don't blame them for being so rushed about this, they have dates and I don't, which is a first. Well, not a first that they have dates, but a first that I don't have a date.
I sighed and walked over to where Christopher was looking at suits while texting. "So, what color are you thinking of getting, or are you just going to match with Jasmine?" I asked while smacking his back and walking past him and over to the next rack of suits. "Match." He replied while paying no attention to me.
Oh, I forgot to tell you who I came here with, which shouldn't be hard knowing that I only came here with three guys. So we got Christopher, Tom, and Davis. Now, you know Christopher and Tom, so I don't have to say anything about them, but I do have to say some things about Davis.
So Davis is in fact in the school's basketball team, which kind of explains why I don't see him too often, but he's still my best guy and when we have a chance to hang out, it's like at a game or playing video games. Davis is the kind of guy that's chill and he doesn't stress anything, and by anything, I mean nothing at all! He's actually legendary for it. Legend has it that he had a pop quiz, basketball game, and he needed to go on a date with his girlfriend all in one day, and he managed to do all of that and, you guessed it, still be calm on the date with his girl, which is weird knowing that all of the stress comes roaring down to you in the end of the day through a major headache. He, for some odd reason, looks up to me and I look up to him, which is weird since we expect things from each other and just end up with the same results in the end of the day. By the way, I've known Davis for...you guess it again...for five years.
