Chelsey's P.o.v
The next day in class, I couldn't keep my eyes off of William. Meanwhile, Christopher is trying to find out how to get William out of denial like me, but I am still wondering if I really like William. I don't know if I would feel special emotions towards him like lovers do in the movies. Probably by a long shot. I sighed and lied my head on the desk, creating a barrier with my arms.
Suddenly I felt arms embrace me, making me quickly look up. I saw William giving a worried smile. "Even though I don't have feeling for you, that doesn't mean that we are not still bestfriends." William informed me, making a smile warmly form on my lips. I hugged him back and whispered, "Thank you, for everything."
"Anytime." He said making me laugh a little. He's right, even though he's lying about his feelings and even though we can't be together, that doesn't mean that all those moments that we had can't be cherished and our friendship can't continue because they obviously can. Once the bell rang, he went back to his seat as AP started, and Mr. Lane began to lecture, "I hope that you all did your homework because it's coming closer and closer to the time that you get your GPA and I want to see great averages because after this one is one more before you all, hopefully, graduate." Everyone exploded in excitement making him smile and calm the class down.
I looked at the place that Jasmine sits to smile at her, but then I remember that she was gone and couldn't graduate with us making my smile disappear. Gosh, I miss her! Those memories that we had will aways be remembered and I regret being mad at her for bringing William closer to me by accident when I hated him. I felt tears sting my eyes, but I looked back forward and at Mr. Lane as he started to go around the class and collect homework. I quickly took mines out of my homework folder and placed it on my desk.
Oh no! William didn't do his homework! We totally forgot when we went our separate ways. When Mr. Lane was going to William's desk, he looked at his homework for a while before nodding with a serious face. "I can tell you your grade right now, Mr. Gray." He told him, looking at him with the same serious face that he gave his paper. Oh no! It's all my fault! I don't deserve to be a tutor! "B-, a big step, Mr. Gray! I'm proud of you." Mr. Lane continued with the same serious face before continuing to collect homework. I gasped and put my hand over my mouth. He did it! And he got a good grade without me?! Whoa!
William turned around to face me and winked. I smiled realizing that it was actually my lessons that got him a good grade. I guess that he was listening when I was tutoring him. Now that's something to be proud about!

Once it was lunchtime, I started to walk to the cafeteria, hungry as hell since I didn't eat breakfast! As Janette and I were talking about the guy who brought alcohol to the dance getting suspended, Christopher ran up to me and said, "We need to talk!" I looked at Janette who was frowning at Christopher with hatred. She looked at me and shrugged while continuing to walk into the cafeteria.
"What?" I curiously asked knowing already that he might say something about William. "Well, William," he started making me shout in my head, "I knew it!" He continued, "William is in more denial than you were. At least with you we were making progress, but William is not! Not even a hint of progress! I wish I knew why he was in so much denial like this." Me too. I sighed in defeat and thought, maybe we aren't meant to be afterall.
"But, I did get him to say one good thing that only lovers say to eachother." Christopher said with a sly grin. I jumped up and yelled, "Stop playing with my emotions! What is it?!" Christopher sighed and teased, "Oh nevermind. You're not ready for it." I smacked his arm as hard as I can making him wince. "Damn! I guess they were right when they say that love is painful." He mumbled. I was about to smack his arm again, but he apologized, "Alright, alright, sorry! I'll tell you! Geez." I smirked and braced myself to listen to what he had to say. "William said that you're sexy." I gasped. Christopher laughed hard and said, "Look at you're face right now! I would pay millions to see it all the time! (Laughs more) I was just joking." I sighed in relief. If he actually thought that, then our friendship would be down the drain and every time I would see him would be awkward.
