Chelsey's P.o.v.
I texted William a million times, but he didn't answer one of them. I tried to ask him if we could talk and if he could forget about all of the craziness of this week. Today's Friday, and if we get past this day with no problems, then we are officially together, according to the deal, but if we don't, then we're screwed.
I tried to call Christopher, but he didn't answer. Actually, I haven't seen or heard from him in awhile. I hope he's okay.
I texted Nicole to come pick me up with her car since I don't feel like taking the crowded bus and William's not replying, but she never answered back.
Flashback
"Can we talk?" I texted William.
"Call me when you can." I texted again after an hour.
"Are you okay?" I texted after two hours.
"Can we please forget about all of the craziness of this week and get back to normal?" I texted before I went to sleep.
Flashback over
What the fuck has my life come to. I don't think that it's okay to continue this relationship...it's only hurting me.
Author's P.o.v.
Nicole woke up on a bed with white walls. She couldn't focus her eyes for sometime, but she was eventually able to make out the lady dressed in all white.
She tried to talk, but she couldn't. She tried to think about what previously happened, but her memory was completely wiped out. She even tried to move, but she was connected to lots of wires and there was this killing pain to her neck that caused her to look at one direction. Up.
Meanwhile, the doctor was outside speaking with another nurse about any of Nicole's other relatives that she can stay with for the time, but the nurse could only remember one women that was always at the hospital with Nicole. Her aunt.
Nicole couldn't hear the conversation that was being said outside, and soon her vision became blurry with tears when the pain on her neck grew even more. She tried to make some noise of communication, but that just made the pain worsen.
At the police station, they were taking mugshots of Nicole's dad. Once they were done, they had no choice, but to let him make one phone call, which he used to call a lawyer. Even with all of the crazy shit that happened and any words that he has to use to protect himself in court, nothing can get him out of this shit that he was already in. The cops had already witnessed him with the knife cutting Nicole's neck.
Back at the hospital, Nicole went back into a daze leaving the doctors to speak with her aunt, who eventually came to retrieve her. Sofee was hiding in the back of her mother in fear, peeking out every once in a while to look at the doctor's face, but every time the doctor looked at her, she hid.
"I knew that I should've took custody when I had the chance! How many fucking times am I going to come to this God damn hospital and look at my niece who's fighting for her life!" Nicole's Aunt yelled to herself pulling at her hair, frightening Sofee.
"So are you going to be taking her home?" The doctor asked, already impatient with her aunt.
"Of course!"
"Good." The doctor got his clipboard from the main desk and went back to Nicole who came back to consciousness.
"Evening Ms. Hensward." The doctor greeted, trying to pull out his best fake grin to make sure that Nicole isn't too freaked out. "You may have some trouble speaking at first since we had to stitch up your neck, but we'll give you some medicine to temporarily lower the pain so that you can talk to the cops tomorrow morning about what happened, but for now, we want you to rest. Your aunt is staying here overnight to pick you up tomorrow." The doctor told Nicole, but Nicole couldn't focus much on what he was saying because all the events of earlier hit her like a jab. She wanted to groan in pain, but her neck suffered the consequences.
