Chelsey's P.o.v.

So now it's been a whole week without William. I'm proud of myself for getting this far. Nicole did eventually come to school, but the last time I saw her, which was last week Wednesday, she had a bandage wrapped around her neck and when I asked her what happened, she walked past me. It was like I wasn't even there. William, on the other hand, wasn't seen much. When I see him, he's hanging around his popular group, but he doesn't talk to girls that throw themselves at him anymore or at least I don't see him flirting with them. I guess that he is waiting for me. It kinda makes me feel a nice feeling in my heart.

I thought that people would've been making fun of me, talking behind my back, or even saying how I was just a phase for William, but they were actually cool, and some of them started to talk to me and give me advice about things with life and stuff. I guess that I have more friends than before, but I like the ones I have now. It's better to have a small group than a big one. Like, what's the point of keeping secrets but only telling your friends when you are friends with the whole school and the secret is no longer a secret. Just saying.

As I was walking to lunch to meet up with Janette, I noticed that Justin was leaning on a side of the double doors. When he saw me, he got off the wall and approached me with a smirk. Ugh, give me a break.

"So, I heard that you and William broke up." He said with a satisfied grin.

"From who?" I asked, skeptical about how people get their information.

"I don't really know. I just heard it on my way to school." He honestly answered. Ugh, great. I guess people are talking, but I don't know if it's dirty talk or regular.

I walked past him, but he grabbed me by my arm, stopping me. Why am I not surprised. "Wait. Now that you're single. Let's, you know, get together. I'll treat you better than that guy did. Both of us know that it's gonna happen." He said, pulling me to him and looking into my eyes. Ugh, I just got the shutters.

"Ugh, not even if I was desperate!"

"Come on. I'll be there when you need me, I'll make you smile when your down, and when you need a shoulder to cry on, I'll be there." Sounds more like William...

"Stop the foolish lying. Both of us know damn well that you're lying." I said, rolling my eyes. This fool is all talk.

"Okay, fine, I may not be able to do all of those things, but I'll be there for you!" He said, looking determined.

"What do you even see in me anyways. It's obvious that we are not meant to be." I said, dragging my arm away from his grasp. Come on, give me a break. He probably is just using me to get back at William.

"I don't know. I just feel good around you, but as always, William has to come and ruin everything! Ugh, why doesn't he just leave!" Justin said, deep into thought.

"If you knew the real me, like William does, then you wouldn't even think about falling for me. Actually, you'll run for your life! I have weird parts of myself that no one can handle except the people closest to me, and I only met you three weeks ago. Give me a break!"

"Bu-bu-but, you make me feel--"

"You need to find someone that's into you and makes you feel good, not just one of the options." I said, getting ready to leave until he said, "But, I want you. I need you...to be there...here with me! Cause I like you a lot! Oh and by the way, when you get to know me better, you'll be impressed."

"Haha, don't make me laugh!" I said, not even cracking a smile.

"Okay, so what did you see in William?!"
