I woke up and went to breakfast, was waffles again. Only a few students had shown up. Renea, Naki, and Amika were at the table. In total, there were about nine people left. Which was strange, considering most people were up by now. I got my food and sat down.
"There's not a lot of people here. Did I miss a large portion of breakfast?"
"No, in fact, you're actually on time."
"Attention, students." The headmistress called, after standing up. "I have an announcement to make. As you can see, several of students are missing. As you probably know from yesterday, the six chaperones were not able to get into the game. We don't know what is going on, but we are having people investigate. Take caution when using and playing Ancient Conquest, as we don't know if it is the direct cause or a coincidence that the students just so happened to be playing it. We will give you more information once stable information is found. Again, please have caution, and enjoy your day."
"Enjoy your day? Seriously?" Naki said.
"Hey, be nice. We don't know what is going on either. It is only natural that she tries to lift the mood." Amika said, continuing to eat. "So, I guess this is all the students who made it out. That makes four for Ravenfury, three for Doomscar, two for Regalwind, and a Starbow. I wonder why the others couldn't make it out.
"Well, let's see. We would have to ask the other guilds, but Phil did get hit by water balloons." We waited for Renea to elaborate, though she didn't.
"So...you're saying that getting hit might have an effect. 'Cause if you do, then I'd like to point out that he didn't get gain damage from that. Though he did trip over the couch to extinguish the fire-"
"That's it! That's when he got hurt!" The three of us got confused at Amika's outburst. "He tripped over the couch, right? And he said his hands hurt. I remember that Alin also got a little sore from someone's fighting style."
"I didn't mean to. He is a stinking dragon and he is supposed to be strong. I mean, come on."
"Still, that explains why they aren't here."
"I suggest that everyone has a meeting in the town hall. I'm going to suggest it to Lupita, Ren, and Vin-assuming Vin will listen of course." Renea got up and passed her message along. She got back. "Well, that was more successful than I thought."
"Ok, so let's get into the school world ASAP!" Amika said, punching a fist into her other hand. She got up, put her tray in it's place, and left the cafeteria.
"Well, then. I guess we have to go." Naki said. We got up and left as well, after cleaning our places up. I got in my pod, but before closing the lid, I looked at the other two boys who shared my VR pod room. They looked like they were doing something intense. I wonder what. I entered into the VR school to find them fighting.
"You wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for you and Naki fighting!"
"You would be able to log out if you didn't somehow trip over the couch. Seriously, bro, it's a freaking COUCH! You have to be super clumsy if you trip over that thing!"
"I was talking. Don't you get absent-minded at least a little bit when you are talking?"
"Rare enough that I don't trip over something obvious!"
"Hello, guys." I said, and the pair paused to look at me.
"Oh, um....hey." Phil said.
"Let's get downstairs. And don't fight." We did and we saw that the girls are downstairs. There was a note left on the counter.
"What's this?" Phil asked.
"That's what we were going to ask you." Renea said. "We found it here."
