Fourteen Days later; Early Afternoon before Terminus Alpha

My guild walked back to the player house. We bought the whole hotel for ourselves, so it would be easier to protect. We could be easier to protect as well, because we wouldn't have three guild houses spread out. We were able to also secure a safe house (well, more like a cavern, but still) and get some quests on the way.

Crys eventually came back, and so that was good. So far, we had been able to keep her infectedness (assuming that is a word) and relationship with Seth a secret. We know now that Ren definitely not support us keeping it secret, or for it being a secret in the first place.

Naki's brother has given us some NPC and still surprisingly, player back-up. The whole player guild supports it. Whole player guild, because we figure since we are living in one house, we will have one guild, with three factions. The entire guild is called Rivercrest Rebels. We called it that because it not only sounds generally cool, but it also makes sense. We are from a place whose name included Rivercrest. We are going to be Rebels against the Shadow King. So, Rivercrest Rebels. Elver made it up.

Speaking of the Regalwinds, Ren's photo of who could've been my mom got stolen. He was attacked on the way to the meeting point.

Phina has grown, and is not about the size of a twelve-year-old, contrary to her eight-year-old self that she was when we met her. She doesn't remember her birthday, so that makes things complicated. But at least we can help her feel better. Starra has taught her how to cook. Naki and Dain are officially her big brother and sister now. And I'm the father. Which I'm alright with, because Starra is pretty cool and beautiful. Not to mention, her cookings amazing. And her trapping, hunting, bartering, and fighting skills. Pretty much all of things I would want in a girl. Speaking of which, Phil and Dain had pulled me aside to tell me something.

"So...you and Starra have something going on?" Phil asked.

"What do you mean?"

"Come on." Dain said, playfully punching my shoulder. "You like her. Like 'like' her."

"No I don't." Even as I said the words, I'm pretty sure I blushed.

"You're blushing, so you're lying. You like her, dude."

"I like her as a friend."

"Your face betrays you." Phil said. "Besides, think about it, maybe she likes you back."

"If she does," I replied. "then...I don't know."

"So you do like her." Dain said, not leaving the subject alone. I gave in, blushing.

"Yes. I like her."

"Finally, the dad admits his marriage."

"I'm not married to her."

"Do you wish you could be?"

"We aren't even dating yet, slow down."

"Then do you wish you were dating?"

"Now that you mention it..." I looked over Dain's shoulder. I saw the girls in a circle. Well, not Phina. She was out with Luna having some fighting dresses made for her. Amika had her head fur brushed back. She looked really nice in her outfit. "What are they talking about?"

"Something." Phil said, mischievously.

"No, honestly, what are they talking about?" Dain grabbed me by the shoulders, making me look at him. He covered my vision. Whenever I stand in front of him, facing him, he always does. The dreno is so stinking tall. More than once, it caused some frustration.

"If you want to date her, why haven't you asked her out?"

"I...never really thought about it."

"Then go ask her." Phil gently pushed me in the direction of the girls.
