Chapter 14
I looked at myself in the body-length mirror and smiled sweetly. I am wearing the dress Travis picked for me.
As I expected, I looked intimidating and gorgeous. The dress fitted me perfectly emphasizing the curves of my body. I paired this dress with killer heels and I curled the tips of my hair, applied light makeup, and put on a charmy perfume.
Nasira ang moment ko nang biglang bumukas ang pinto. "Ready?"
It was Travis, tumingin ako sa kanya, he was wearing a dark longsleeves that he folded into three. Somehow, it feels like we are couples because of the same color our clothes have.
"Uso naman kasi ang kumatok muna." Inis na sabi ko sa kanya, I glared at him.
"No time for that. Let's go, princess."
I snorted. "Princess, mukha mo."
"Speaking of faces..." naglakad si Travis palapit sa akin, he held his hand on my chin and raised it up making me face him, mas matangkad kasi siya sa akin kahit na naka-killer heels na ako, "you look... captivatingly gorgeous."
Namula ako. Tinulak ko ang kamay niya at umiwas ng tingin, "tara na nga..."

"Kai!!!" Lumingon ako at nakita sina JM, Trisha, Ethan, Blue, at Vivien. Nakaupo sila sa table malapit sa pool. My party is at the garden of the mansion.
"Hi guys!" I greeted them with a smile plastered on my face.
"Happy birthday!" Isa isa nila akong binigyan ng regalo na binigay ko sa maid na dumaan at inutusang ilagay sa kwarto ko sa mansion. I can't hold them for long.
"Thanks guys!" I smiled. This was supposed to be my birthday party pero karamihan sa mga bisita ay bisita ni Sandy, ang magaling na asawa ng tatay kong matalino.
Well, at least I have these five people here.
"Tsk. I told you to wait for me."
Oh, six people.
Lumingon ako, "saan ka ba kasi pumunta?" Asar na tanong ko. Napanganga naman sina Trisha at Vivien.
"Somebody called me, I won't stay for long in here." Sagot ni Travis.
Upon hearing that, mas lalong uminit ang ulo ko. "Edi wow."
Umiling siya sabay hawak ng kamay ko, "now if you excuse us," he said to my group of besties, "I will steal Kai for a moment."
Hinila niya ang kamay ko, lahat ng nadadaan namin ay naggi-greet ng happy birthday sa akin.
Tumigil na kami sa isang lamppost malapit sa fountain, in short, nasa harap kami ng mansion, hindi gaanong marami ang mga tao dito kompara sa malawak na garden.
"Bakit ka ba nanghihila? My party is about to start!"
Tumaas ang isang kilay niya sabay kapa sa bulsa, after that, may bigla siyang nilagay sa kamay ko, it was a key with a vintage ribbon.
Napanganga ako. "Is this a car key?"
Tumango siya.
Nanlaki ang mata ko. "For me?"
Tumango ulit siya, "p-pero... Travis, masyado nang marami ang naibigay mo sa akin. Hindi ko kayang tanggapin ito. I don't even know how to pay you back."
Nagulat ako nang bigla akong hinila ni Travis para yakapin, "silly, I don't need your payment, all I want is for you to let me make you my princess."
