Chapter 22
"I want to see a glowing tattoo!" Sigaw ng isang batang babaeng naka-ponytail. She was watching a princess movie wherein the princess had a glowing tattoo on her skin as her dress magically change.
A boy beside her chuckled as he pat her head. His face was blurred, but his features were familiar. "Why?"
Biglang nagkaroon ng nakakabinging ingay, I opened my eyes and stopped the alarm clock. I yawned.
I had a weird dream again. "Good morning." Travis greeted.
"Good morning ri-" I paused and search for him, he was at my bedroom's door, smiling, "...ano ang ginagawa mo dito?!"
He laughed. "Missed me?"
I rolled my eyes. "Get lost please!" I joked. "Paano ka nakakapasok sa unit ko?"
"I used my charms again." He grinned.
It looks like Travis is finally back, now my day won't be dull anymore. "I have something for you." Sabi ni Travis sa akin, I raised my eyebrow as he took something behind him and walk inside my room without asking for permission.
I adjusted my eye since kakagising ko lang, then it landed into the puppy that was in his arms...
My eyes widened. "OMG! Ang cute!" Dali akong bumangon sa kama at kinuha ang puppy sa kamay ni Travis, "hi!" I greeted the cute white dog na may dark blue eyes.
"Arf!" Singkit ang boses ng aso at cute.
"Liked it?" Travis asked.
I smiled and nodded. Travis is really full of surprises.
I checked on the puppy's gender then looked at Travis. "What's her name?" Tanong ko sa kanya.
He smiled. "You name her."
Nag-isip ako, "Tatty?" I blurted out. The puppy barked then licked my cheeks as if she was telling me she loves the new name.
"Tatty?" Travis asked, confused.
I grinned, "tattoo."
Parang na-gets naman niya ang ibig kong sabihin, he smiled. "I think she likes the name."
"Saan mo siya nakuha?" Tanong ko kay Travis as I pat Tatty on her head.
"Let's just say while I was away, I saw her in a petshop and so I decided to buy her since I remembered you upon seeing her." Is he implying that I look like a dog?
"Arf!"
I hugged Tatty and she seems to like it.
Habang nakayakap ako sa kanya ay nagulat ako nang bigla akong nakarinig ng snapshot, I looked at Travis, only to see him smiling at me while holding his phone with a camera. He took a stolen shot of me.
The moment was suddenly disturbed when my phone rang. Somebody was calling me. I let Tatty walk on the floor before taking my phone, tinignan ko ang Caller ID, it was Dad.
I accepted the call. "Ano ang kailangan mo?"
I heard him sigh. "You know this time would come Kai, and I gave you more than enough time to get ready for this, I am getting old and tired already," nagpakawala ulit siya ng malakas na buntong-hininga, "and you are my unica hija, the only daughter of Karlos Chaves, you are my treasure's heiress."
"Ano ang ibig mong sabihin?" Tanong ko sa kanya.
"It's time for you to learn on how to manage and run a business, Travis will handle everything, he will teach you." Dad sighed in relief, "Kaira, you can't outrun anymore your responsibilities."
He ended the call... I faced Travis, he looked at me and smiled. "So, let's play the teacher-student roles?"
Ngumuso ako. "Ayaw."
He chuckled. "From now on, I'm Sir Javierres and you are my student Kai."

Naglagay ako ng dog food sa plato ni Tatty, agad naman siyang kumain, I smiled, she's so adorable!
Travis excused himself and went to the comfort room, he left his phone in the kitchen table. Ngumisi ako sabay kuha ng phone niya.
I opened it and saw Travis and I as his wallpaper, it was a stolen shot when we were in the cliff to watch the city lights and fireflies. It was so beautiful.
I sighed. I opened the phone pero may passcode ito. I tried guessing 1234 but it says incorrect pass, then I tried 0000 and it opened. Ngumiti ako. Ngiting-tagumpay.
Una kong tinignan ang photos, nagulat ako dahil walang ibang laman ang photos niya but me or the both of us, I scanned the photos, sa pinakadulo ay may nakita akong picture. It was a picture of a younger version of Travis with a beautiful woman, it must be his Mom, sa picture ay nakahawak ang kamay ni Travis sa kamay ng batang babae, must be her younger sister, Breiz.
I smiled. They look like a happy family.
Dali kong in-exit ang app at sinara ang phone nang bumukas ang pinto ng comfort room at marinig ko ang paglakad ni Travis sa sahig.
"Tatty, come here!" Tawag ko sa aso ko na agad namang sumunod.
