"Whew..." Silver huffed "I grew up near Mount Dread, but I've never climbed it like this before." he actually shivered "This chilling wind... It's freezing my limbs and making it hard to move. And there are sharp rocks protruding out everywhere like so many blades. It's like the mountain doesn't want us here..."

"You don't have to strain yourself, you know. I can carry Lilia if it's too much for you." Y/n offered.

Silver shook his head though "You're already carrying the egg, and Grim is on your shoulder. You don't have to strain yourself."

Y/n let out a light chuckle "I'm fine, Silv. Just tell me if it gets too hard, k?" They patted his cheek.

He nodded.

Huffs, huffs and huffs later, they reached the bridge over the ravine between Dragontail Peak and Mount Dread.

And that's when Lilia stirred "Urgh..." He groaned softly "Where am I?"

"Ah, Sir Vanrouge, you're awake." Silver perked up at the sound of his voice "We're about to cross the bridge to Mount Dread."

"You climbed all the way from the foot of Dragontail Peak with me on your back...?" Lilia was surprised to hear that.

"Yes, sir. It posed no issue." Silver affirmed.

Lilia looked down for a moment. Then he glanced towards Y/n who was still holding the egg in their arms "..." He let out a breath "...  Alright, Silver. Put me down, I can walk now."

"Are you certain?" He asked "I wouldn't mind carrying you all the way to Dragonopolis."

"Hah, you're getting rather cheeky." Lilia lightly shook his head "You might not sense it, but the fog in the area is replete with magical energy. My injuries should heal up in no time here." And on that note, he hopped down Silver's back.

"May I have it back now?" Lilia extended his hands towards Y/n.

"..." A part of them hesitated a bit, but they ultimately handed Lilia the egg.

Lilia had that odd expression again... but he shook his head "Say, I don't see Sebek around at all. What happened to him?"

"He stayed behind with Baur to keep the enemy at bay." Silver informed "They haven't joined back up with us yet."

"Ah... With Baur..." Lilia mumbled.

There was suddenly a rumble that shook the earth.

"Mrah?!" Grim almost fell off Y/n's shoulder, but they steadied him "An earthquake?!"

"I'm afraid they're back." Y/n muttered.

And indeed, ironclads showed up:
"We've finally caught you, Vanrouge!"
"Use the armored excavator to destroy the bridge! Strike Vanrouge down and get that dragon egg, whatever it takes!"

"Can I, this time?" Y/n motioned towards the excavator.

Silver thought for a second then "No."

They huffed and crossed their arms, pouting.

Lilia glanced at them "..."

"I'll take care of this. Yuli... lend me your light." Silver raised his hand as liquid starlight pooled from his ring, flowing down his arm and condensing into his grip. A radiant sword of pure white light formed "You shall not pass! Not without fighting me!"

"What can one scrawny little whelp do? I'll send you plunging into the ravine, bridge and all. Armored excavator, full speed ahead!"

Silver was about to charge when he felt a tingling sensation and paused.
