'What would happen if I died in THIS dream? In this weakened state, could I really... be gone? Maybe not my body but maybe my mind... That's kinda-'

I let out a squeak as Lilia kisses my neck, fortunately the not scale covered side.

'Ah, it's the early morning. I've been pondering all night, it seems.'

He lets out a curt chuckle as he gets up "I see your neck is still as sensitive as ever."

'Oh...' I slowly sit up and watch him stretch "... Lilia?"

"Yes?" He says without looking at me.

"... Do you love me?"

Silence.

'Huh?' I raise an eyebrow 'If I'm currently his lover, shouldn't he immediately say "Of course" or something like that? Or did I cause a shock? Is he waking up?'

"H..."

'H?' I tilt my head.

"Hmph!" He crosses his arms "It's not like I love you or anything."

'Tsundere Lilia!?'

"I... Well, I... simply tolerate you, is all." His ears are turning red.

"... Right, Mr. Vanrouge. We sleep in the same bed but you just tolerate me." I say sarcastically.

He stammers "W- That's just... You would probably get too cold at night and... get sick or something. And... Uhm, I don't want to have to deal with that on top of everything so..."

I smirk "Hm-mm~ Very believable, Mr. Vanrouge."

His face is beet red now "Shut up! You always mess with me and even call me Batman and stuff. You're annoying."

"Oh my gosh, Batman, that's so genius. How did I never think about this one?" I whisper to myself.

"What?"

"Gimme a kissy~" I extend my arms to him.

He blushes more and pushes me back. I laugh as I land on the bed.

He huffs and exits the tent "Hurry and get ready. We're leaving."

"I'm dying."

"Will you two stop complaining?" Sebek scolds.

"And Grim, you're on Y/n's shoulder. How are you tired too?"

Grim only grumbles at Silver's question.

"We're connected." I put a hand over my heart "He feels my pain."

Grim nods.

We've been walking non stop for a while and my legs want to give out... Stupid body and...

Lilia stops in his tracks which causes me to bump into his back, though he doesn't react so I lean on him and rest my chin on top of his head.

Silver gives me a concerned look "Do you want me to carry you?"

"Ye-"

"No." Lilia abruptly pulls me away which causes me to stumble and almost fall but he snaps his fingers. The red diamonds faintly glow and a platform appears under me. I land on it in a sitting position "She can manage."

'Why didn't you pull that out hours ago? Guess jealousy is more of a trigger, huh.'

"What is the matter, General?" Baur asks why Lilia stopped walking.
