Sleeping... I'm sleeping, I think. My eyes feel so heavy... I can't open them...

But... something's nagging me...

Something is close and keeps hitting my forehead.

Tap.

"Now's not the time to be sleeping..."

Tap. Tap.

"Y/n? Y/n soon-to-be Draconia..."

Tap. Tap. Tap.

"If you are expecting a true love's kiss..."

Boop.

"I am not your woman, sorry."

My brows furrow.

"Enough games."

I feel a big hit on my forehead, a shock going through my body with the sudden pain and my eyes snap open "Ah!" I wake up with a scream, seeing green for less than a fraction of seconds. I abruptly sit up in bed and place a hand over my racing heart.

I take deep breaths, trying to calm down... I rub my forehead 'Surprisingly, it doesn't hurt now... Was that just a dream? Were those... Malleus' eyes I saw when I opened my eyes? Guh...'

Wait a second. I look down. I'm in bed? Was that Lilia's doing perhaps? I sigh softly and glance at my clock: 9:12 PM. Damn, did I sleep for a whole day? I'm sweating too...

I sigh and push the blanket off me. I get up and go to the bathroom, taking off my clothes. I glance at myself in the mirror. The circles under my eyes are gone. I run a hand through my hair '... Yeah. Male feels right today.' I sigh softly as I sink into my bathtub.

After some time, I feel a vibration. I open my hand, my phone appearing in it and I answer "Hel..." 'Wait a second. The barrier I put up shouldn't let any call go through... Is this Lilia's doing again?'

"S/n-kun? How are you doing?"

'Ah.' "I am fine, mama. Thank you. Did something come up?"

3rd person's pov

Crowley called out to Lilia, catching everyone's attention "Vanrouge, pardon for interrupting. Your carriage has arrive. It's time to depart."

"Oh dear, it's here already?" Lilia sighed softly "Time certainly flies when you're having fun."

But suddenly the ground rumbles and green flames appear, cutting short the moment. People gasped and were nervous.

The green flames faded a bit to reveal Malleus with a disoriented Silver "Well, well... Quite the glittering assemblage. Students, faculty... Why, everyone's here! Heh heh heh..." The flames rumbled with his dark chuckle.

Silver finally regained his bearings "Huh? Where am I? We're back in Diasomnia?"

Lilia looked at them with slight surprise "Malleus? Silver? What's the matter? Why are you both covered in snow? And your nose is all red, Silver... Hm? Were you...crying?"

Silver tried to hide his face "No, I wasn't! This is just, um..."

"Lilia." Malleus spoke to get his attention back on him "Thank you for inviting me to your party. My apologies for my late arrival. I've spent much time thinking about what gift would be appropriate... For all of you, really. And I've finally found my answer. Therefore, I bid you all to accept this heartfelt present of mine." He smiled darkly.

Lilia's brows furrowed a bit "What present? Malleus, what are you planning?"

"Hear me, everyone! I have a wonderful gift for you all." Malleus announced grandly, opening his arms "No longer shall you shed tears over sorrowful goodbyes. This party should honor not an ending, but a beginning!"
