I apologize for my outburst. Olympos is the search engine company with the most popular OS in the Twisted, the number one hardest company to get a job at. Idia will be working as a software engineer at their head office in the Kingdom of Heroes.

I am currently laying face down on Lilia's lap while he strokes my hair and hums a soft lullaby... strangely resembling Once upon a dream but I'm not in the mood to question it right now.

Malleus and Lilia were also mind connected with us, they just hadn't felt the need to speak up.

"She's okay, right?" Idia looked me over.

Cater kneeled down and took my hand in an apologetic gesture so I pat his head to tell him it's okay.

I sigh and roll on my back, still using Lilia's lap as a pillow.

Lilia smiled, still caressing my hair "Do you want to try touching Y/n's hair, Malleus? It's really soft."

"I am not your pet." I swat his hand away, which only made him chuckle.

"May I?" Malleus tilted his head.

"Try and you'll see." I close my eyes.

Seconds... I feel his hand getting closer... and I bite into it, not a bite bite, but the kind of bites cats do when they play with you cause they love you. Anyways, that elicited a small gasp from him.

"Do that to me next." Cater pointed at himself.

"No." I free Mal's hand and put it on top of my head "What do YOU even plan to do, Cay-Cay?"

"I still haven't figured it out..." He rubs the back of his neck.

I glance up at Mal who seems obnubilated by the texture of my hair. When he notices my gaze, he says "I haven't either. To be honest, they all look the same to me."

'I get it.'

"How so?" Trey asks curiously.

"A quarter is but three months—practically the blink of an eye. What can one gain in such a short timeframe? And how could they even be evaluated?"

"Excuse me, three months is a whole anime course. And sometimes, an anime can be so good it's literally life-changing." Idia retorted.

"I believe humans do so much advancements particularly because they have so little time. It's important for you to choose" I take his hand off my head, suddenly having enough of head pats. I must be a cat...

Malleus retracted his hand "...Hm, surveying ancient ruins does pique my interest somewhat."

"Well, that suits you." I smile.

"What would you have picked if it was you, N/n?"

"Nothing. It all sounds boring." I say bluntly.

"Hypocrisy much?" Idia mutters.

I close my eyes 'Let's rip off this Band-Aid already.' "Well, I already have a job and diplomas... I don't need this, especially since I don't even live here. Besides, I won't stay long enough for me to do an intern-stuff. In fact, I might not be here by the end of this school year."

My heart suddenly feels like a wave of sadness, unfamiliar to my body.

ALL of the boys' jewels flicker as they feel a flicker of pain. And it suddenly starts raining.

'Huh?' I put a hand over my heart and sit up... Nah. I shake my head "... Anyways, what about you, Lily?"
