3rd person's pov

Y/n hasn't really talked with the boys yet. Grim did come back at the residence but he was drained and the H/c was still in a giddy state after what happened with Divus.

The next day, Grim has been pulled again by his anemone so Y/n went to school alone. There she saw Jack.

"Hi Jackie~"

He smiled, shocking them 'Normally he doesn't react like that when I call him by this nickname.'

"You seem better than yesterday. I was... worried, you never act like that."

They smiled "Thanks. I'm okay now."

Jack's tail wagged but she decided to not mention it since they were having a moment.

"So... not to bother you but-"

"You wanna talk about the anemone idiots, don't you?"

"...Are you mad?"

"...No, not anymore. I said it, I'm fine now so we'll help them."

"Really?"

"Yes... just not now." 

"Huh?"

"You do agree on the fact that they deserve a little punishment, right?"

"I mean they were fools to sign those contracts."

"So let's just let them suffer for a moment before getting involved~ Okay?"

Jack thought about it before nodding "Sure. Since it's your judgement, I'll trust it."

He was about to live but looked at them "Hey, why are you not in uniform?"

"Yeah, you were right, I was feeling bad yesterday so after som talk..." They blushed "I've been persuaded to ask Crowley for a little break."

"Can you really just take a break? Ah! Not like I'm saying you don't deserve it!"

She chuckled "Nah, You know I'm not only a student but also Crowley's assistant. I can be considered as part of the staff so I get break requests too. And since I've done so good and that I've solved multiple problems around campus, Crowley didn't interject. Plus, I also told him about the new problem with Azul."

"What is wrong with that dude though?"

"According to Crowley, he's always been a real manipulator but he never really breaks any rule so he is not reprimandable." She shrugged.

"How do we deal with him, huh?"

She chuckled, earning a questioning look from him "Deal..."

His ears perked up "Ah! The pun was not intended!"

"I know, I know." They cleared their throat "Well, to beat him, we'll have to play his own game."

"You can't mean to say that you want to sign a contract with him!" He yelled.

"If you have another idea, I'll be glad to hear it."

"..."

"Good. Now, don't worry Jackie. I see this contract as a bet or a game and I always win!"

They patted his shoulder before going as their eyes glowed blue.

Y/n's pov

It's been 3 days since I took a break. It's supposed to last for a week and I'm not complaining~

I'm resting right now. With the boys off my tail, I can really call this a break.

Now that I think about it, how did I get into bed?
