I woke up from my sleep. It was 3am in the morning and Liyah was crying uncontrollably. I quickly went over to her crib and I instantly smelt her diapers.
Nicki: Okay mama quiet down for mommy.. we gonna change you
Aaliyah: *stares at Nicki* abaaa?
Nicki: *gets a new diaper and baby wipes* yea baby.. abaaa!! *rubs her nose on liyah's nose*
Its been 1 week since she was born and we haven't been to see Rika & Nae yet. I honestly don't know when we gon see them but it will definitely be soon.
Nicki: There you go lil mama!
Aaliyah: aaaahyaa!!! *smiles and shows her dimples*
Yeah you see that? Ain't no doubt that this is my child. The facial expressions she makes just remind me a little of Rihmeek.
As we started walking back to our room, she started to get boiling hot. I guess its that family instinct that told me because when I took off her pyjama top, she started smiling and giggling.
I put her back in the crib and let her fall asleep in only her fresh diapers.
Then, I pecked her cheek and walked back over to the bed.
Before I nursed Liyah, I was real close to Rihmeek in the bed. As I was falling asleep, I felt him pull me back into his embrace.
"I love you," he whispers. "I love you too" and with that, we both fall asleep.
- In the morning -
"Baby I promise I be back before you and Liyah get here." He said that the boys needed him for some shit so he had to go handle it. My point was that Liyah is only a week old and what if there's an emergency while he's gone?
"Rihmeeeek" I dragged, "Just go chill with Rika & Nae," Maybe that wasn't a bad idea. Thembi and Candi had to go back to Trinidad because of family issues. They aren't related. But in their different families, there are issues taking place... so why not hang with my godbaby and my bestie?
"Yea okay but Rihmeek I swear if yo sexy ass ain't home when I come back then we gon have us some issues. Ya dig," ... "Why you going all hood on me, baby?" He said, "Robert! Promise me." ... "I promise baby"
I pecked his lips and then he kissed Aaliyah on her belly button.
Rihmeek: Daddy loves you sooooo much and when I get back we can relax together..how that sound mama?
Aaliyah: yayaaa!! *holds his head*
I adore their relationship already. Its just beautiful to me. This time last year, I didn't know how it was to have fallen in love deeply. But now I know the feeling.
Meek: okay pretty mama
He sucked my neck.
"Bye baby" I say it back, "Bye babe and stay safe" he nodded and left the house.
Nicki: I guess its just me and you baby girl
Aaliyah: *touches Nicki's hair and stares at her*
Nicki: Awwww your eyes!!!
After I washed her up and got her dressed, I went to have a shower.
I sat her in the baby chair and gave liyah one of her teddy bears from her Nursery.
15 minutes later...
