After your conversation with Shawn, you went to your room to lay down. Your head was spinning. All of it was a lie. Shawn was never kidnapped and wasn't hurt. It was all some stupid prank.

How could he do that? It didn't matter if he didn't want to do the prank, he still went along with it. He could've walked away. He could've texted to give a heads up. He could've done something, anything, but make you feel like you were about to lose him forever.

"(Y/N)?" I heard Shawn ask quietly. I guess I had been thinking so much I hadn't heard him come in.

"Go away, Shawn," I replied, too tired to start fighting. I heard him shuffle over and felt the bed sink a little as he sat next to me.

"No. Not until you listen to what I have to say and believe me. Please, (Y/N), I promise I wanted nothing to do with it," he pleaded. He wanted nothing to do with it? I was furious.

"THEN WHY THE HELL DID YOU DO IT?" I shouted sitting up. In that instant you made one mistake, looking at Shawn. He wasn't his usual self, not the happy, fun, upbeat guy you loved, but rather defeated, head down, and broken.

You took a deep breath as you got up and walked to him. You wrapped your arms around his torso and pulled him close.

"I'm so sorry, baby," he cried, wrapping his arms around you. You felt and heard as his sobs wracked through his body and you pulled him closer, if that was even possible.

"I know, Shawn, I know. I was just upset and worried. I didn't mean to yell," you tried to soothe. Slowly his sobs became quieter and his breathing went back to normal. You pulled away and grabbed his hand, leading him to the bed. "Tell me what happened."

"We went out to a club, the guys wanted to have 'fun', and for a while it was fun, just being with them and laughing. Then I saw some of your coworkers and heard them talking about you." I felt his body starting to tense as the memory resurfaced.

"Shawn, take a deep breath. I'm here and I'm not going anywhere," you said softly. Moving a hand to his cheek, you pulled his head towards you so you could look in his brown eyes. You watched as his shoulders rose and fell and his eyes soften. He grabbed your hand and kissed it before tracing different shapes with his thumb on the back of your hand.

"They were talking about you, calling you different names and just being plain rude. I went over to talk to them but my protective side came out and I started punching one of the guys."

"You mean all the bruises and cuts are real? Not some fake blood or anything?" you whispered. He nodded slowly. You got up, pulling him with you and led him to the bathroom. He sat on the toilet while you grabbed a washcloth and the first aid kit.

"That's when the guys decided to pull a prank. I don't know why I did it," he said. I paused and stared into his eyes.

"It's okay. Just give me a heads up next time, okay?" I asked, trying to make him feel better. He smirked. He stood up, towering over me, and cupped my face. He leaned down and kissed me, slowly and passionately.

"I love you so much, (Y/N)," he said smiling.

"I love you too, Shawn," I replied smiling back.
