"Hello?" I said.

"Hey, (Y/N), it's me, Liam," came the reply. My heart sank. I didn't have to be able to see him to know that he was blowing me off again. This was the third time this week, only this time, he didn't have the guts to say it to my face.

"What's your excuse this time?" I asked, sounding sadder than I intended.

"I'm really sorry, (Y/N). I really want to go out with you but tonight's not a good night," he responded.

"What ever, Liam. Look, if you're going to blow me off so much, why don't we just call it quits before you hurt me even more? If you didn't plan on actually going out with me in the first place then why did you ask me out? Did one of your teammates dare you to do it? I don't care the reason, but I want to know why you thought it would be fun to hurt my feelings," I snapped.

"It's not like that, (Y/N). I swear it's not," he argued.

"Tell it to someone who cares." I hit the end button as fast as I could. I didn't want to hear any more of his lame excuses. I understood that I wasn't someone that would typically go out with a lacrosse player, I was a little too nerdy for that, but I still was a person and you don't intentionally hurt someone because it would be a fun prank. Why did I even let myself believe that he wanted to go out with me? He was one of the best players on the team, and I was just some lame book nerd.

I wanted to call someone, to speak my frustrations to, but the only person I could think of was Mason, and he was Liam's best friend. I considered calling Scott, but he was probably busy being an alpha, or dating Kira, or dealing with the supernatural to talk. Stiles was out of the question because he would try to beat Liam senseless and would probably hurt himself more than Liam. I wasn't really friends with Kira or Malia, although I'm sure Kira would help. That left Lydia, but I wasn't about to go crying to my big sister about boy troubles. Besides, she was dealing with the whole banshee thing and I didn't want to distract her.

My phone began buzzing in my hand and I looked at the caller ID. I sighed as I pushed the ignore button when I saw that it was Liam trying to call to give his lame excuses again. My phone began buzzing again but I hit ignore again. It started buzzing again, and I'd had enough.

"Look, Liam. I want you to stop calling me. I'm done listening to your dumb excuses and I don't want to get hurt, so leave me alone!" I shouted.

"Woah, woah, (Y/N). It's me, Scott."

"Oh," I replied quietly. "Sorry for yelling at you."

"It's okay, but I wanted to let you know that Liam is with me and Stiles tonight," he explained gently.

"Why is he with you?"

"That's not for me to say."

"Then why did you say it, Scott? Did you think that I would give him another chance just because he's with you?" I asked angrily.

"Well... yeah," he answered.

"Well it's not happening."

"Give me the phone," a muffled voice said.

"No, Stiles..." I didn't hear the end of it because it sounded like they had begun wrestling for the phone.

"(Y/N)," Stiles finally said, sounding a little out of breath.

"What, Stiles?" I asked, starting to get annoyed with the two boys.

"Come outside for a minute."

"What?" I asked surprised. I stood up from my bed and walked over to the window. There was Stiles's jeep, sitting in front of my house. I saw Scott and Liam standing next to it, while Stiles was leaning out the driver's side window.

"Just come outside. We'll explain everything." With that he hung up the phone. I sighed, contemplating whether to do what they wanted or not. After another couple moments, my curiosity got the best of me and I slipped on a pair of shoes and sweater before making the trek outside.

"I hope you understand that me coming out here doesn't meant I'm taking you back," I called, out closing the front door behind me. I saw Liam shuffle his feet and look at the ground. As I got closer, I could see Scott whispering something to Liam but he stopped when I got close enough to hear. "What was so important that I had to come out here, instead of watching Netflix, to find out?" Scott looked over at Liam and I followed. I heard him sigh before closing his eyes.

When he opened them back up they were a glowing golden yellow. I gasped. Of course he would somehow get dragged into this.

"See I told you she'd be scared," I heard Liam say.

"Why would I be scared? I'm more annoyed with Scott right now," I inquired.

"Because I'm a werewolf and you should be afraid of me," he answered, but he seemed confused by my answer. "Why are you annoyed with Scott?"

"Because he's the only alpha around that could turn someone into a werewolf. And I've known about the supernatural since Scott got bit," I added, seeing Liam confused face. "Liam, if this is why you've been blowing me off, you could've told me."

"I didn't know that you knew about the supernatural and I didn't want to freak you out."

"Please, (Y/N) was probably the most chill of us all when we learned about the supernatural world," Stiles interjected.

"That's only because it answered all the questions," I responded. I turned away from the older boys and returned my attention to Liam. "Let me guess. You're a werewolf?" He nodded. "Did Scott bite you?" He nodded again. I sighed and moved closer to him before planting a soft kiss on his cheek.

"What was that for?" he asked.

"For finally telling me the truth, and my sign of forgiveness," I replied.

"I-I don't have full control during full moons," he admitted.

"Scott didn't either until he found an anchor."

"Would it be okay if you were mine?"

"I would be honored." He smiled, leaned in and kissed me.

"What was that for?" I asked when he pulled away.

"For being an amazing girlfriend," he replied still smiling.
