"Who?" Alexia asked eagerly. "Steph, give us a minute," Steph's mom said. Steph nodded and walked away from them. "Sweetheart, I know you've been through a lot, so I want you to tell me everything that has happened to you," Steph's mom said staring at Alexia. So Alexia broke down and told the whole story, from the day in the alley to the day she escaped to now. After everything was over, Steph was called back over. "Steph, Alexia has been through way more than you think, so I want you to listen to her," her mom said patting her daughters hand. So once again, Alexia retold what had happened over the past few years. "I'm going to call your mom," Steph's mom said getting up to find a phone. Alexia searched Steph's face for any sign of emotion, "Are you mad at me?". Steph shrugged, "Not really, I understand why you didn't tell me,". Alexia nodded and blew her nose into a tissue Steph had given her. "Did you know my mom?" Alexia asked. "Barely, I think my mom worked with her," Steph replied playing with her fingers. Steph's mom sat down at the table, "She said she's booking a flight and coming right here,". "Where was she?" Alexia asked. "She moved up to Maine a few years back," Steph's mom said, "It'll only take her about an hour to fly here,". "Why don't we go pack up your stuff," Steph's mom said getting up from the table. Steph, who hadn't said anything in the past 5 minutes, got up and went into the bathroom. "Is she mad at me?" Alexia asked Alexia knew not telling Steph the real story was a risk but she had to keep it to herself. "No, she just doesn't quite understand what you've been through and why you wouldn't tell her, she'll get over it soon," Steph's mom said putting the folded clothes into a duffle bag she had gotten from Steph's room. "Now all we have to do is wait," Steph's mom said smiling to Alexia.

Thomas searched frantically in a drawer. He needed to find the cell phone he stole from that girl he kidnapped. "Ah ha," he said with a evilish  grin on his face. He attempted to turn it on but quickly realized it was dead. Luckily, the girl had a charger in her bag she had with her, he just had to find the bag. He went into his bedroom and switched on the light. He went over to his closet and knelt down on the floor. He moved a shoe box out of the way and found the leather bag. He ripped it open and found the charger. He plugged it in and watched with delight as the little screen lit up. He began scrolling through her contact list, "Now where's her mother at?".

*How is everyone doing? I've been super busy so I'm glad I finally got to do another chapter. Did you think Steph's mom was gonna know Alexia's mom? And what's going on with Steph's boyfriend? Be sure to comment what you think and I'd really appreciate it if you'd vote😆
Until the next chapter,
Emily
