Chris went over to my trailer this morning, asking me if I could watch his screen test with the new kid. I was told he was going to play a hero from Robert's side, so that was going to be quite fun. Sebastian's already on his way to Atlanta, managing to get a flight with Anthony.
I put on black workout leggings, my trainers, a black sports bra and a (f/c) tank top. I knew I was going to be rehearsing fight scenes with Alaena Quintons and Greg Rementer, me and Sebastian's stunt doubles.
I put my hair in a (ponytail/bun), walking towards the set. Lizzie's already there making adjustments for her Scarlett Witch costume by one corner, right by her own trailer. The whole other space is made to look like an airport, another few people assembling what's meant to be the Avengers Compound.
"Good morning (n/n)!"
"Hi Lizzie!" I grinned, popping up next to the costume designers. "Whatcha guys doin'?"
"Oh, they're fitting in new adjustments. They're making another version of my costume."
"Ooh. Can I see?"
One of the men hands me an iPad, where their was a sketch of Lizzie in a corset. I swipe and look at the others. "These are really good, you're copying my sailor style though Olson." I taunt playfully, earning laughs from the people there.
I end up switching to one where I'm in the picture, wearing a beige corset, a black shirt, my usual chunky brown utility belt, cargo pants, and lace up Timberland boots. Just like the one in my guest appearance in Agent Carter.
"You guys are bringing this back?"
"Yeah, we got it from your previous guesting in Agent Carter." a woman says. "We're going to put in a little things for you though, upgrades here and there.
"I mean, it works, so... I'm not really complaining." I grin at her, giving her back the iPad. "I gotta go though, they're doing a screen test with the new kid, I wanna watch it."
They're in this one spot where they hung up black sheets and Anthony Russo is there, on his directing chair with one of the cameramen. He's currently talking to some guy in a blue and red... onesie. Chris is looking at his script wearing a dark grey shirt and a jacket in a lighter shade of grey. He's sporting track pants and trainers as well, but he honestly looks like he just woke up.
I take a deep breath and walk up to him. "Hey you," I smile as he pulls me into a brief hug, putting his hands on his waist and smiling at me.
"Hey hon. Just rehearsin' a couple of scenes. Where you headed?"
I nod my head over to the side. "Training. I just found out that I have a fight scene with Sebastian and Scarlett, so I'm training with Rementer and Moneymaker.
"Isn't Sebastian on our side?" Chris asked, going through the script again, his eyes scanning for the particular scene I would be training for after the screen test. I move up next to him and take the script, looking for that page.
"Well yeah, but then Zemo takes control of his mind... it's The one after the car chase scene... thing. The one where they bring us into the compound..." I trailed off, finally finding the page. Chris moves in closer as I point to it. "This one!"
We both read it together in silence as Chris let's out a laugh, turning over so I could get a better look at him. "Lucky girl, you get to ride on Sebastian!"
I almost choked in the way he put it and elbowed him in the gut. "Hey, it might be Greg for all we know, so don't get your hopes up!"
"You're riding Bucky Barnes either way, that's supposed to be on Steve's bucket list, not Celastiel's." Chris winced as he held his stomach, exaggerating the pain. I rolled my eyes and gave him back the script. My eyes find the kid. He's way taller than me but no taller than Chris. I then realized that his blue and red onesie getup actually symbolizes a hero.
"Oh my god, we're getting a Spider-Man?" I grinned at Chris, who shoves his hands in his pockets and hums a yes. Just like a lot of other fans, Spider-Man would always be a one of the favorites. He's just as iconic as Batman and Superman. And to finally bring him into the MCU? Oh god, this was going to be so fun! And he's on the young side! "We're gonna have so much fun."
"Too bad Hemmy and Ruffalo can't make it."
"I know. Mark is such a sweetheart, I'm almost so convinced he's Bruce Banner. He always asks if we're okay and everything."
"Don't worry sweetheart, I'll make sure to fill in for 'em." Chris smirked, wrapping an arm around my shoulder cheekily. He leans down and smiled against my ear, hot breath fanning my neck. "I'll take good care of ya."
I pushed his face away and laughed. "Bastard."
"Only yours." Chris winked. I rolled my eyes again as Anthony called camera. I walked beside him and greeted him a good morning as both the new guy and Chris positioned for the scene.
The new kid does a little flip and stands up straight, acting shocked in front of Chris, who stares at him, observing.
"Do I need to do that?" he asks in a familiar accent, pointing to his saluting hand, putting it away hesitantly. "I-I know that we're on different teams but I-I just don't wanna be disrespectful to you and—"
"Just surrender." Chris interrupts, voice full of authority and... patriotism, throwing an invisible shield to the kid, who ducks, looking back behind him in utter shock and amazement, looking back at Chris.
"Wow, that thing does not obey the laws of physics."
"Oh my god, that is such a Peter Parker line to say," I lean down, commenting quietly to Anthony, who laughs at it. "Where did you find him?"
"Where're you from?" Chris asks, trying to keep a serious face on. The kid stares at Chris innocently, his shoulders moving up and down steadily as he took in deep breaths.
"Queens."
"Well maybe it's time you went back to Queens." Chris says sternly, pretending to throw his shield to his left side. The kid puts his hands up as if he was holding something up, pretending to struggle.
"Uh, a little help?" he yells, looking around him. Chris finally lets go and laughs, dropping his Captain America act. "Thank you!"
"And cut!" Anthony yelled as the new kid and Chris both walked to each other, giving each other a half-hug, half-high five. "That was amazing, good job you two."
"Nailed it!" I sang, clapping my hands at their performance. Both men walk back towards me and Anthony, and I introduce myself. "Hi."
"H-hi!" he smiles shyly, shaking my hand. "Y-you're (y/n) (l/n)!"
I gaped at him and put a hand on my mouth in an attempt to hide the widening grin that stretched on my face. "You're English?"
He laughs nervously, rubbing his nape. "Y-yeah, I am..."
I smiled at his nervousness. "Amazing acting, totally had me with your American accent. What's your name?"
"T-tom Holland..."
"Familiar name. How long have you been acting?"
"A couple years now... I-I starred in Billie Elliot..."
"That's a way back show. You must be
