When twenty-eight-year-old Sebastian Stan scores a huge role for Marvel's newest superhero origin movie, secretly dedicated to his best friend's cute obsession with the comics, both Sebastian and (y/n) meet "some guy" from Boston and (y/n) falls in...
Breakfast went over rather quickly than I had expected — being a Saturday morning, at a time where most of them would stay in bed, they woke up exceptionally early. Most of the couples even decided to take the kids out, maybe to the park nearby, letting them get dressed. While they went to get ready, I stayed back to chat with Carly, who was washing the plates, having me dry them and stack them back up into the cupboards.
It's beyond me where Chris, Seb, Carter, Gracie, and Scott had went. Lisa was doing some backyard cleaning, so that's a possible place. But then, I heard Chris and Seb yelling upstairs, heavy feet padding the floorboards and a heavy muffled thud coming after, so I wasn't really sure.
Muscle memory keeping me wiping the wet ceramic plate, I feel my phone buzz in my back pocket, causing me to let out a surprised yelp and almost drop it. Carly turns off the faucet, holding the pan
"You okay sweetie?"
"Yeah, um..." I paused, setting the plate down on the counter, patting my hands dry on my jeans, pulling out my phone. My eyebrows lift up at a text I had just got from Aiden, one which I hadn't been expecting until maybe a little after seven AM.

Carly, who had paused her chore to have a little peek of the text, hums. "Kinda desperate guy the way I'm seein' it."
"He's..." I trail off, looking over my shoulder with an uncertain smile. "A guy."
"Mhm. Need better analyzation on that?"
I turn my head back to see Scott leaning on the counter, arms crossed over the other and one hand holding an empty glass. He walks over and places it in the sink, causing Carly to groan.
"Aah, really Scottie?"
Scott shrugs his shoulders in response and holds his hand out, eyes looking at me expectantly. Might as well, not like I knew much about guys anyway. I haven't even talked to Aiden since college. I place my phone in his hands and take up the plate and rag I set down earlier, resuming my duties while Scott looked at my messages.
"Soo... breakfast date?"
"It's a little get together. I didn't say date." I mutter under my breath while I push take another plate, rubbing it dry with the white rag. "You boys were... putting words into my mouth, I never said date." Scott cocks an eyebrow up while he sets a hand on his waist.
"No, you told Carter 'date'. And he's pretty cute, that's why I didn't say anything against it!"
"I'm sorry, what?" I stopped him, moving back so he could see how confused I actually was. Carly was now leaning back into the sink with a small towel in her hands, rubbing them dry as I stared at Scott. "I love you Scott, I really do, but there is no way in hell you got that from two text messages."
"Really?" Scott deadpans. I blink. Now, it's either Scott underestimates me too much or I underestimate Scott too much. There isn't another rational explanation for the look he's got on his face.
