Sebastian plopped down next to me. I wiped my nose and sniffled, turning my head to look at him, my hair shielding my face from him. His face softens and his hand flys towards my cheek and he caresses it. I lean towards his palm, my heart breaking a little as his thumb swipes away a tear. "Please don't cry..."
I don't say anything as he pulls up his other hand and cups my face, pulling me up. I rest in between his legs as I stare at him sadly. I look up at him through my lashes shyly as his thumb caresses my tear-stained face. "Sebby... I'm sorry..."
"You don't have to be sorry cause you've done nothing wrong. You panicked."
"But I ruined the whole scene... I-I shouldn't have done that."
"You didn't ruin nothing babydoll. You were afraid, and being afraid is okay. The crew will understand that."
Sebastian reaches into his jacket and pulls out a packet of cigarettes, pulling out one and handing it to me, the paper roll resting between his pointer and middle finger.
"Sebby... I don't smoke." I croaked softly with a sad smile at his attempt to cheer me up.
Sebastian always smoked when he felt stressed or sad, especially during premieres. He'd go to the bathroom or maybe outside the building just to take a drag of it. He claimed that it calmed his nerves.
Sebastian pulls away and gaped at me. "No."
"Yeah, I don't," I giggled as he pulls out his lighter and lights it up anyway. He puts it between his lips and took a long drag of his cigarette, blowing it into the cold night air.
"Okay... uhm, vape? How about that?" he asked.
"Like... the electrical cigarette.. box thing?"
Sebastian hums 'yes', watching at me intended for my reaction. I stay silent for a while just to see what he does. So when he pulls out a small rectangular device, my mouth falls open in shock, honestly not expecting him to have it there.
"Sebby..." I say in a slightly scolding tone as he presses a button on it. He shakes it to check if the liquid is still there. I sigh. He turns to me with a ridiculous grin on his face as he puts the device in my hands, then the half-finished cigarette.
"Come on doll, it'll be fun."
"This feels like high school all over again," I say shakily, pretending to examine the details of the rolled up paper. I bite my lip and drop my hands to my lap, staring at my best friend worriedly. "Are you sure I won't die?"
"One drag, let go."
"That's it?"
"Yup. And I'll finish it off for you." he grinned. "That's how much I love you."
"But... can't they just cut the scene off?"
"Nope. Go on. We're facing your fears now." Sebastian points out, crossing his arms over his chest. "It's now or never."
I take in a deep breath and shake my head. "Okay... here goes nothing."
I put the cigarette in between my lips and inhale a small drag through my mouth. I feel the menthol air fill my lungs and I remind myself not to breath through my nose. I count three seconds before shakily blowing it out, tilting my head up to watch as it wafted through the air.
It wasn't so bad. I keep my head tilted up and shut my eyes, laughing at my

extra A/N: i realized i hyped the drafts for nothing — im a little embarrassed. i also realized some of these may be already in the book because some of these drafts were and may have been used as a base scene i would work around with to flesh out an entire chapter for the book according to the time it would take place irl
