Chris' POV:

Rose Dorothy Johansson-Dauriac.

That was the name of Scarlett's baby girl.

And she was absolutely gorgeous. We're all been absolutely smitten with her! She has a little patch of blondish hair spread all over her little head and she's so small and tiny. She was born the same day I went live on IG and absolutely pranked the hell out of (y/n). It was a really hectic day, the moment we got Scarlett out of the condo — holding her little emergency bag for this particular event and Ethan's hand — she started to feel a lot of pain. She was bending to her knees and clutching her stomach and squeezing (y/n)'s forearm.

We were panicking like fucking crazy, it wasn't our best moment. I had to switch with (y/n) when Scarlett finally told us what was happening and that it was not a drill nor a prank (she was watching my live while waiting for us). I had picked Scarlett up and ran all the way out and most likely thrown her in the backseat with (y/n) for hand holding support and Ethan in the passenger's seat, who was crying because Scarlett was screaming.

It was a lot of pressure, more than I actually thought. With Ethan crying waterfalls and Scarlett growling and screaming and kicking at my seat to hurry the fuck up, I don't think I've ever felt more nervous in my life. Now I understood why (y/n) wanted me around. While (y/n) carried poor Ethan, she started calling Scar's husband and mom through her phone, trying very calmly and shaky as I carried Scarlett to a stretcher, which was provided real quick, holding her hand until they couldn't allow us to go any further. Luckily for us, her husband was nearby the hospital and got to arrive before Scarlett could do her third push.

All three of us were waiting outside the delivery room for at least three to four hours, and Ethan was dozing off on (y/n)'s chest, tears just starting to dry up from all the crying. Poor guy, all shaken up and exhausted. It was a pretty eventful day for a kid like him. This must've even been his first time witnessing this kind of thing.

While waiting, I got me and (y/n) some spicy cup noodles and a cafeteria hamburger for Ethan when he'd wake up and just... started stress eating in our spots... eating away cause there wasn't anything else we could do but wait and hope for the very best. It wasn't until a few minutes later into feeding a sleep Ethan when the doctor finally came out to see us, still suited up in a sterile suit and cap, all sweaty but a smile in her eyes. It's a baby girl. Ms. Johansson did great.

Despite the stressful few hours and anticipation, it was a really great day, we got to go in as soon as the nurses cleaned up and saw Scarlett sleeping with a little bundle of pink resting on her chest. Scarlett's mother was in tears as she watched her son-in-law pick up the baby. Soon, me and (y/n) were in the same state. Scarlett woke up to see me and (y/n) hold little Rosie, and then it was all soft hugs and light kisses.

Today I'm with (y/n) and Sebastian in Boston, along with a some close family friends like Georgetta and the rest of (y/n)'s family. We were having a little get together barbecue. Scarlett, of course, couldn't come and had to spend all her time resting and taking care of Rosie before shooting restarts later on this month. The public doesn't know yet and we're aiming to keep it that way for as long as we can. Scarlett just wants Rosie to have a normal life, away from the celebrity life, the issues, the rumors.

Everyone is out in the backyard, being really spacious, perfect for a family cookout, almost everyone was there. Dad couldn't really make it, but it's all good, promising he'd make it up for Christmas. The kids are doubled this time around; they're running all over the place while me, Scott, Carter, and Seb handle the grills. The whole backyard was set up for a little DIY movie night, the couple beach lawn chairs and blankets scattered all over the grass, a large sheet hung over the fence with the help of a clothing's line and a couple of pins, junk food set to the side and salads filled in wooden bowls and various sauces readied out beside 'em.
