Chapter 15.

The knocking on my door woke me up from my barely asleep mind. I sat up and pushed the covers off of my body, leaving Ryan lying in bed fast asleep.

"Alright for some." I mumbled as I shuffled my way to my door. He'd woken up at least five times in the night thinking I'd left. I'm not sure if it's the come down from the drugs, it isn't as if I know how much he'd done since I'd been gone, or the fact that he'd almost commited suicide. I'm putting it down to both. I couldn't blame him, in fact if anyone to blame it's me for even leaving, he's clearly not very happy at the moment and I was determined to stand by him. However, with him waking up screaming, sweating and crying on top of little baby kicking the shit out of my insides it's safe to say I'm probably not going to be getting much sleep anytime soon. I unlocked the door and opened it to reveal Justin stood there dressed in full work clothes, his satchel even across his body.

"Morning Sofia." He smiled politely as I stepped back for him to walk in. "You ok?" He asked once I'd shut the door and turned to face him.

"Exhausted." I sighed.

"Ryan?"

"Up all night like a child who's sick and having nightmares." I rubbed my temples.

"I could look after him tonight if you want some rest?" He offered looking at me with concern written accross his face.

"It's not just him, it's this little one too." I put my hand on my bump. "I'll be ok." I smiled a reasuring smile.

"You sure?"

"Positive."

"Ok, well I came over this morning to let you know you have to come into school today to discuss next year..." He spoke warily, he was touching a touchy subject and he was aware.

"We both know what will happen." I sighed. "I can't believe I have to stay another year! God, am I ever going to get out?!"

"It's what is best for you, you've had a rough few weeks, months. Anyway, you're meeting is at one o'clock, I was going to come and tell you last night but my wife got sick so I had to look after the kids whilst she went to the doctors."

"Is she ok?"

"Yeah, more than alright." A smile spread across his face. I gave him a look that asked him to elaborate. "She's pregnant!" He was practically bursting with excitement. "AGAIN!"

"Congratulations." I smiled genuinelly happy for him. "Kid number... 4?" I remembered him saying he had twin girls and a son.

"Yep. Anyway, I need to get to work, don't forget one!" He walked over to the door.

"Wait, I can't leave Ryan alone!" I could already picture the fit he'd have and felt myself pale. Justin stopped in his tracks as if the thought hadn't occured to him.

"Bring him to my class?"

"You sure?"

"It shouldn't be a long meeting... I can look after him."

"But if I come to school with him people will start to talk... oh my god, why me." I sighed and ran a stressed hand through my already messy hair.

"Look... just come to school at about five to one whilst every one is in lessons and no one will see you, I'll meet you in the main entrance."

"Ok." I nodded. "See you then."

"SOFIA!" Ryan called with panic evident in his voice. Justin gave me a knowing look before quickly departing through my door, I turned and made my way to Ryan.
