Chapter 25.

The final chapter.

-TwentyYears Later-

"MUM BREANNA STOLE MY LIPSTICK!" Paige yelled down the stairs before the stomping of her coming down them echoed into the office from the hallway.

"Can't you share?" I asked them as I left my office to meet her in the hall.

"She always takes my stuff!" She whined at me.

"Shut up." Breanna was now walking down the stairs with her lips a bright shade of red.

"You're twins... can't you get along?" I almost begged my fourteen year old daughters.

"I share a room with her is that not enough?" Breanna scowled at me through her green eyes.

"You guys really should give mum a rest." Zaid asked as he walked out of the games room.

"Thanks Zaid!" I smiled at my nineteen year old son, my second child.

"MUM WHEN IS EVELYN AND TYSON GETTING HERE? WHEN'S DAD GOING TO BE HOME?" Victoria called down the stairs.

"YOU'RE FIVE YEARS OLD YOU CAN WALK DOWN THE STAIRS AND ASK ME AGAIN!" I called back to her.

"So when?" Riley, my nine year old asked as he ran down the stairs.

"Yeah, when?" Victoria joined him.

"Evelyn will be here in about five minutes. Tyson about half an hour. And your dad, same as always, at half six. Dinner will be on the table at seven. Go occupy yourselves!" I told them all. The shrill cry of Selena echoed around the house. "I'm not going to get any work done!" I sighed.

"The magazine know you're on maternity leave, I don't think they expect too much!" Zaid comforted.

"Zaid, I run the magazine because I own it... there's no such thing as a break." I laughed at his comment.

"Oh... well I'll get the baby, I'm only playing video games." He shrugged as he jogged up the stairs to stop the five month old from crying. The rest of them all scattered going back to whatever they were doing upstairs.

"Hi mum!" Evelyn stepped through the door.

"How was work?" I asked now resigned to the fact that I was probably going to have to wait until later to look over the Christmas issue before it goes to publishing tomorrow morning.

"Good." She nodded. "When is Tyson going to be here?"

"Soon." I told her.

"Who is with Selena?" She questioned.

"Zaid."

"I'll go help him!" She jogged up the stairs. I made my way to the kitched to get to work on the dinner. Every first of the month I cooked for the whole family. Well, the only additions to the table on a Sunday is Evelyn and Tyson but all the same. I could hear the twins arguing upstairs again and sighed but chose to ignore it and focus on the Sunday dinner I was cooking. You get used to the constant noise once you get past the fourth child.

"HELLO?" Tyson's voice called through as I heard the front door open and close.

"In the kitchen!" I called to him.

"TY!" Victoria's voice screamed as I imagined her running down the stairs at him. He walked into the kitchen with the five year old in his hands seconds later.
