Chapter Fifty-Five: Shower Thoughts (18+)

The sound of a door shutting could be heard as Akane shut the hotel room's door. Her eyes looked down towards the two beds that lay in the room ahead. She was both somewhat glad and disappointed that Aqua had gotten two beds. She wasn't sure if she was ready to share a bed... But! Akane wanted cuddles!

Sure... cuddles... only cuddles...

"I'm going to take a shower before dinner... should help with my head."

Aqua said as he placed his suitcase on his bed and began to grab some fresh clothes. Akane was too lost in her own thoughts to process what he was saying.

"Yea... okay..."

Aqua raised an eyebrow at her for a brief moment before he made his way into the bathroom, a soft click signified the door was locked.

Akane moved to her own bed, opening her own luggage. Her eyes shifted through the contents. She hadn't brought much, a few changes of clothes, a nice dress.. which she should probably change into for dinner... a small makeup bag, a few hygiene products.

The sudden sound of running water made her ear twitch, but she paid it no mind. She pulled the nice dress out. Not quite like the sundress she wore now, but this was meant for something like a dinner, more revealing than her sundress, though not by much.

Her eyes scanned it before she began to work out the small wrinkles that had accumulated during their trip. She should probably change into it once Aqua was out in the shower... better yet she should probably take one herself.

Though with nothing to do for the time being until Aqua was out of the shower, she let her eyes wander around the hotel room. It was cozy. Clearly not very expensive to rent for a few nights but definitely not cheap. Pressing her hand into the mattress, she could feel the soft, yet firm mattress underneath the comforter. She was going to have a great night's rest on a bed like this!

Though as her eyes continued to look around the room and she noticed Aqua's suitcase lay open on his bed. Now Akane wasn't the nosey type, but knowing Aqua... he had probably planned this trip out quite thoroughly... which meant he probably packed quite a few things that would hint to what they might get up to this weekend!

And she wanted to know what those things were!

She quickly and silently made her way over to his suitcase, leaning forward to peer in the contents... only to be disappointed....

Inside was clothes... just clothes. Was that really all what boys brought when going on a trip with their girlfriend?! She didn't understand it!

Of course... Maybe there was something underneath all those clothes, but moving them might get Aqua suspicious that she was snooping... but maybe lifting a corner of a shirt wouldn't hurt.

And so she did.

Ah oh she did find something indeed!

It was a pack of... condoms..?

She froze, fingers holding the edge of the fabric. She couldn't believe her eyes... were those... Really condoms?

Wait.

Was Aqua planning too...

She blushed harder than she ever had, thigh clapping together as she felt a small bit of warmth spread throughout her body. The air around her body suddenly felt cold, she felt a shiver run up each vertebrae on her spine.

Her eyes looked down at the pack in disbelief. She could not fathom how Aqua, of all people, would be willing too... He hadn't seemed interested in anything like that before!
