As everything blacks out to what I thought was going to be eternity, I wake up. I am in a coffee shop, but I don't recall coming here. In front of me is an empty mug of nothing. Then I look up to see a beautiful woman walking towards me.
Iris.
"Gabriella!", she exclaims. I feel like I know her, but I don't. I have never seen her in my entire life.
"Hey! Guess what?", she continues.
"What?",I say, still with dazed expression.
Where am I? Is this my home? Is this Central City???
"I'm moving in with Eddie!"
Eddie? Who's Eddie?
"Hey! Earth to Gabi!"
She waves in my face.
"Look I know you've been having late nights lately, but be pumped up! You've just got your job!"
How the hell does she know that I tried out for my job at CCPD yesterday?
Then I see those green eyes, his brown messy hair and his lopsided smile.
I can feel his name forming in my head.
Barry Allen.
