Hey, it's me again. Who else could it be anyway?
I've done some reminiscing, and I've changed. I was happier, we were all happier. I think we need a break- from savitar, from zoom, from eobard.
I only wish I could forget who I was, and just live a normal life for a day.
I wish I could be normal.

I guess that's never going to happen.

"Hey Thea", I say, walking into an empty Verdant,"It's a slow day."

She smirks at me and swipes the table with a cloth before tossing it to the side,"Day Gabi, it isn't night just yet."

I smile,"So, I was looking for a job."

"You were?"

"I-uh I thought I should move outta town. With Ollie back Mrs. Queen has too much to worry about."

Thea's eyebrows narrow at me,"Take a seat sis", her voice is cold and condescending.

"If you think for one second that I'm gonna let you leave town because you feel like a burden, then you don't know me. And mom is happy with all of us home, you know that."

I sigh," But I'm not her kid anyway it doesn't-"

"It doesn't matter. She knew what she was doing when she took you in. And you aren't a charity case anyway."

Right.

"The place looks better than it did when Ollie was here."

Thea laughs," I'm glad you noticed. I'm also glad that he left me some actual work to do!"

"Can I explore?"

"Explore away, I have some boring accounting to do anyway."

My feet carry me to the back of Verdant, where a closed door with a keypad stands.

"Hey Thea!", I call out,"What's this door back here?"

"Ollie said it was a flooded basement! It's totally useless!"

"Oh"

I zero in on the keypad, flipping it up and looking at the technology.
It couldn't be a flooded basement armed with a keypad lock, Ollie couldn't be that possessive of a flooded basement could he?

I feel the keypad, some numbers are slightly more worn than others, and some look extremely new.
I make a mental note of the numbers.

Five.
Six.
Eight.
One.

Seriously Ollie? I punch in the password. 1685, and the door beeps green.
If only Ollie knew not to type in his brith date.

I gasp as the door opens and I slip through, shutting it quietly. The stairs are a dead giveaway, but there isn't any other to get down unless I go down the other side of the banister. Behind me are pipes, probably left behind from construction. I take one, and arm myself like it's a baseball bat.

Slowly, I tiptoe down the stairs.

"Hands in the air, drop the pipe", a deep voice says.

"Oh hell no."

"I will shoot", the voice speaks again.

"And I will hit you, you blasted burglar! You're stealing from my sisters bar!"

"Gabi?", the voice speaks again, but I can't see a face for it's too dark.

"Agh!!", I yell, charging forward with my pipe until the man who was speaking to me simply snatches it away from me.
