Chapter 21

- 8 months later -

A/N: sorry for skipping so much time, but I don't really know how to explain the process of pregnancy months.

Reginae's POV

I'm finally close to my due date. These past few months have been so difficult. I felt useless the entire time I literally needed help to do everything. Luckily I had mine and Jacquez' loving family by my side the whole time. Well your probably wondering what I'm having....and I'm going to tell you. I'm having a girl!! I was so excited when I found out. I can't wait to dress my baby girl up and do her hair. Jacquez wanted a boy but he is happy nonetheless. I can already tell he's gonna spoil her, she's not even here yet and he already has her closet full of clothes & shoes. Then there's toys all over the room is just crazy. Anyways I moved in with Jacquez so we could have a set environment for the baby.  Right now I'm laying on the couch watching tv while eating pistachio ice cream on a cone. As I was laying down the doorbell rang. I was here by myself so I have no choice but to get it. I struggled to roll of the couch when I finally got up I held my back and wobbled to the door. Whoever this is better have a good reason for being here. I opened the door to see everyone as in squad.

Me: what are y'all doing here?

Brielle: well hello to you to baby mama.

I laughed and rolled my eyes. I moved to the side and let them in. I walked in the living room and sat on the couch.

Sebastian: where Jacquez at?

Me: he went to the supermarket to pick up some things he should be back so-

Before I could finish my sentence Jacquez came through the door with both hands full of bags. He walked pass the living room and saw all of us.

Jacquez: hey baby, wassup y'all.

He went in the kitchen and put the stuff down. I got up and went to the kitchen. I hugged  him from behind.

Me: I missed you babe.

He turned around and kissed me while holding my waist.

Jacquez: I missed you too baby. So have you figured out what you want to name our baby girl?

Me: well I was thinking of maybe Maleah or Dayci what you think?

Jacquez: I like Dayci better and we can make Maleah her middle name.

Me: well it's settled Dayci Maleah Sloan. It sounds so official.

Jacquez: yup just like her pops.

I giggled at what he said and I was about to respond until I felt a hard kick. I grabbed onto Jacquez arm when I felt the kick.

Jacquez: you ok baby ?

When he said that I felt another kick and I began to get wet. I looked down between my legs and saw the water on the floor.

Jacquez: damn Nae you couldn't make it to the bathroom.

Me: shut up stupid my water broke get the baby bag and meet me in the car.

Jacquez: why the hell you so calm?

Me: just get the damn bag and let's go!

I held the bottom of my stomach and walked out of the kitchen. When I got to the living room I felt a contraction hit. I grabbed onto the couch and screamed in pain.

Josh: Nae what's wrong?!

Me: Y'ALL NEED TO STOP ASKING ALL THESE DAMN QUESTIONS AND GET ME TO THIS HOSPITAL UNLESS Y'ALL KNOW HOW TO DELIVER MY BABY!!
