*Cara's POV*

Two days. Two days til Christmas! I'm so excited! Christmas is my favorite holiday! The last week and a half has been so busy decorating the townhouse, helping the guys attempt to decorate their rental home, shopping for everyone, and packing. This is going to be a great Christmas. Michael and I spent the day at his parents house today for an early Christmas get together. It was really a huge difference than my family's. Michael's in for quite a shock. It was just us two with his mom and dad. They both are really so sweet, and Michael did great helping me to avoid questions that were too personal. Now we're back at his house kicking back with Calum and Regan, who are finally official now, Ashton and Luke. All 6 of us are heading up to my uncles house tomorrow for my family get together. These boys better not act up in front of my ENTIRE family!

"No cussing"

"Nothing dirty or perverted"

"Keep your hands to yourself" (that was Regan looking directly at Calum)

"Don't break anything! That's my dad and uncles job!" Regan and I bust up laughing. Two years ago they were wrestling in the kitchen and slammed into the pantry door. I think it's still cracked in half to this day!

"Don't start talking politics or religion!"

"Oi!" Ashton puts his hands to his head. "We get it we get it! In other words, behave!"

"YES!" Regan and I say simultaneously. We do that a lot.

"Make sure to pack Advil. My cousin is mentally and physically handicapped and things tend to get really really loud"

"Oh and swim trunks!"

"Regan! Its 20°F out, they're not opening the pool!" I exclaim.

"It's Uncle Pete! You never know! It's happened before!" True.

"Fine. Bring swim trunks," I sigh. This is a disaster waiting to happen!

"Anything else MOM?" Luke asks. All I can do is flip him off and he starts laughing.

"So give us important details here," Ashton asks. "How many people are we talking about, which side of the family, and how big is this freaking house to fit everyone?"

"Let's see," I say, "Roughly 30-35 people," Michael's mouth drops open. Like I said, total shock. "My dad's side. Grandma, my aunts and uncles and cousins. My aunts family usually drips in too." I explain. "But their house is enormous. And its on a lot of land. There's always plenty of room for everyone."

"Where will we sleep?" Luke asks.

"Probably the media room. It's as big as this entire downstairs. There's two huge sectionals and loads of floor space so Calum won't punch anyone," I tease. He just sticks his tongue out at me.

"So, y'all go pack while I go get pizzas!" I said getting up out of Michael's arms.

"Y'all?" Ashton giggles, "you become a Texan all of a sudden?" Ugh, I better explain this before we get to Uncle Pete's. Mom always comes up. I plop back down on the edge of the couch before continuing.

"Okay guys, listen up. So, my mom, my real mom, is from Texas. I was talking to my cousin Shelby down there earlier. Hence the 'y'all'. I tend to pick it up after talking to any of them. Anyways," Here goes! "I don't know my real dad. My mom met my dad when I was a baby. They got married when I was 3. My mom died when I was 9, after she had David. My dad remarried to Pam, aka 'Mom' and they had James. Mom and I are 13 years apart, James and I are 14 years apart and no, Ashton she cannot be a milf." I took a deep breath because I just ranted all that in one breath and needed air. 6 eyes stared at me in disbelief. Those belonged to Regan, Michael, and Ashton. The only ones that knew all this, and the ones that knew how difficult this used to be for me to share.

"What?" I asked.

Regan got a huge smile on her face. "I just can't believe you shared all that so easily!" I shrugged and looked from Michael to Ashton.

"It's nothing to be ashamed of, right?" I said and Ashton winked at me. I can't believe I've gotten so close to these guys in so little time. "NOW will y'all go pack? I'm hungry!" and everyone went to their rooms while Regan and I went to get pizza.

"Michael is really good for you, you know that?" she said once we were in the car.

I just shrugged. "Ashton, too. He gets it. But yeah, Michael, I don't know. There's just something about him. I actually trust him. And I am starting to trust those that he trusts, too."

"I'm glad."

We got back to the house 20 minutes later with 5 of the biggest pizzas you can find around these parts of town. Regan and I split one, and each of the guys had their own. Not surprising but there wasn't a single slice left. Nothing beats wood fired brick oven pizza!

After we cleaned up, we moved the coffee table out of the way, gathered all the blankets and pillows we could find, and made a giant bed on the floor for the 6 of us. Regan and I got the edges next to Michael and Calum, while Ashton and Luke argued over who had to sleep next to Calum.

"I'm not that bad guys!" Calum whined. I couldn't stop the laugh from coming out.

"Calum, you stopped my dad from being pissed off because I was sleeping with Michael. That's near impossible to do! Yes, you ARE that bad!" My eyes started to water at this point from laughing so hard. He just huffed and curled up with Regan in his arms as the rest of us settled off to sleep.
