Part 1 Doubt and Trust

The day was beautiful, things had finally settled down. After all the problems between, the present and past had been sorted. 

I felt out of place, since most people still seemed weary of me . While others were just plain afraid, of me I thought. Here at the first academy, which has been my home, for two summers.

"l have given them a very good reason. Too create a large berth around me." I thought in my mind to my dragon. While stroking his head absentmindedly.

"Akira" ....her dragon said ......" lt's going to be alright trust me, everyone at this academy."  "Has seen your courage and devotion, to keep them and the lands safe."

"How are you so sure Ree? "

"Hey kiddo, just give it some time please, for me." 

"As you and I know, things always have a way of working out in the end. You of all people should know this Akira"

"But they don't trust me anymore." She spook out loud. With a confused, expression on her pretty face. 

"Akira, I trust you with my life and believe me when I say. I am to magnificent to rely on anyone else but you...... He said, while looking tenderly into her eye's.

"So full of your self still I see." She snorted. " I love you Ree." I said while rubbing his head.

I started thinking this all come about because "Deception" had fooled her last rider Steeson into believing all her lies. They got Dominique to time travel back to the past to ask for "The Rider and Dragon of Legend" to help. He time traveled using the dragon scale "Ree" gave him before he and Akira time traveled 500 yrs back to the past where they belonged. Once he arrived everyone thought him daft. Akria never told anyone where she was during the time she went missing.. But Akira and "REE',,,, Took what he said very serious. He let her know people in the present were being controlled by this man named "Stesson." But the most disturbing thing he revealed was "Stesson." Was also the rider of a new black dragon. Akira and Redemption time traveled 500 yrs into the present. The whole thing was a trap set up by rider and dragon to get Akira and her dragon come to them. Deception had him create a disk with an injection in it. To take over Akira's mind thus breaking her bond with Redemption. While under Deception's rider's control. Or so he thought Akira's thirst for power was like nothing she could ever imagine. It flowed, through here very core.. While all along it had been Deception"s own master plan. Akira tried to kill Gina and Dominique but failed thank's to the fates, And among all the many others she killed, her worst regret was she killed Will, one of her most trusted and dear friends. When Redemption did come to try and get his rider back. He knew the risk to his life he also knew Akira' s heart. He just had to get through to her or die trying which he was fully prepared for. His love and belief in his rider and her heart. Is what finally ended Deception's reign. At the point when Akira was about to plunge a special blade. She knew was meant to take Redemption's life, at his chest. Her hand froze, as she "Rememdered" before the madness could control her again. She abruptly slammed it in too her own chest"....the blade did it's job the disk broke in half. Rendering Deception rider less"".."which took all here maturity away At the same time Ree got all his maturity back and dispatched "Deception."

Coming out of her daze she realized, she still had her trusty friends and dragon. Around her and even Linken, had turned out to be protective of her. Only why she wasn't sure, did he see her as a friend also. It was just so overwhelming to think of all her and Redemption had accomplished together.

Absentmindedly she walked out of the stable's into the court yard.

She did't notice a brown haired boy watching here every move.
