Part 2 Confussion

"How are you today beautiful?" I heard said right behind me, a smile light up my face. It was Seth. Turning I grabbed his hand, pulling him towards the cafeteria. "Starving." I told him as my stomach growled. We both laughed at the noise.

We walked inside arm in arm, no one even lowered there voice. Many people said," Hello." To us as we walked by them. I thought about the last three moons and all the changes, that had taken place.

Seth, got us two bowls and filled them, with the tasteless substance. One for me and one for him, It looks horrible, all green and soupy, but had no taste at all. 

I, chuckled thinking of my first experience with this stuff. No one could get me to eat it, not even Gina, no matter how hard she tried to persuade me.

"What's so funny Seth asked? "

"Oh, nothing really I was just thinking, of my first time trying this wonderful meal." I replied. While looking at my bowl. Seth started laughing, along with Gina and Drake. As we sat eating, Drake was spooning, his into his mouth, like it would grow leg's, and run away.

"After we finish breakfast Linken, wants to meet with us, on the roof top." Seth said to us. All was quiet at our table for a moment. "I wonder what he wants? " Gina, pondered out loud. "Well let's go and find out." Seth said. After we got up, Seth, lead me by the hand through the corridors, and up the lift's till we arrived at the rung's to the roof. "After you" Seth told me, with a loving smile upon his face.

"Ouch" Drake said, as Gina popped him, on his head with her hand. Drake said "what was that for?" "Did you not see Seth, guide Akria, in front of him? "So what has that got to do with my head? Gina, raised an eyebrow, at him threateningly.

"Your right I should let you go first." "But I'm not." and up the rungs he flew, with a very unhappy Gina, right behind him. She didn't look very loving by the time she reached the rooftop. I was pretty sure this wasn't the last Drake, would hear about his actions.

We arrived on the roof top, to find Linken, already there. Seth, walked up to him as we all circled around. Linken didn't beat around the bush." I have news that effect's not just you, but the academy."

"What news could he be referring to?" I wondered.

She could tell Ree was listing in. (Noisy dragon) she thought. " Well you know me, I like to keep on top of things." He replied she just snorted.

Linken looked at her and said. "Ree." She nodded in assent smiled. (Oh he's good) Her dragon thought. " It's  his job." Akira thought. (I like him) She stopped listening to him as Linken, started talking.

Silas, has found his replacement, now that he has everything is finalized. Linken, told us. Does that mean the council, is now in full force?" Gina asked him with enthusiasm.

Linken, turned around to face her with a stern look upon his face directed at her. "She apparently interrupted what he was going to say next." Ree thought, while chuckling the whole time.

Gina, jumped behind Drake, like a scolded child that had been caught with her hand's on something she, knew not to touch.

"As I was saying you may think Silas, was callous in waiting so long to choose his replacement. I can assure you that is not the case. These choices are not taken lightly for a very good reason."

" Do you know how long it took Brandon to find me? No one spoke a word all eyes looking at him. " It took 17 summers." Linkin replied . Now that was Brandon, for you most of the others had there successor near at hand.

"Wow."Ree, thought to his rider who was thinking the same thing. Everyone just stared blankly ahead shocked by this information.

"Once Brandon found me, he tried to spend as much time as he possibly could giving me the training I would need. Once he felt I had learned all he could teach me he decided to send me all around the land's. To get diverse training, so that I would have an open mind and not get set into just one way of thinking. He didn't want my mind to be closed off and get set in my ways. I have been training, for more summers than you can imagine. Since, we dragon rider's do not age, the same way as normal people. No one here knows my true age. I have been training longer than, it took for him to find me. It was hard for him to run the academy, and fill in as a council member. It wasn't easy for him to find the time, but then Brandon is persistent. He wanted me to learn as much as was possible before it was time."
