Akira and Ree decided Seth was right. They needed to talk to to Linken If anything happened and they could have warned them. They could never forgive themselves. Akria, knew as the "Rider Of Legend" It was her duty to notify "A member of the council." If there was a threat.
She snorted remembering a time not to long ago, when she would have never ever given the council, a second thought. Her and Ree would have just taken off, without thinking of a plan first. And try to handle things on there own. Ree wouldn't be happy about her decision to leave without telling the other's. Still out of love and concern for her he would have gone where ever she went. Of this she was sure with a love like there's he would never allow her to go anywhere if he could help it without him.
" Of course I wouldn't you are my rider even if you are reckless at times. My rider is growing up and I am proud of you for not being the head strong child, I started out with."
Hey that's me you are talking about," surprised at his candor. "It's true you are more mature and think more about the reaction's that your actions will cause now, and that's a good thing. There's nothing wrong with that In fact. I've been waiting for you to get to this point for a long time."
She felt his pride in her radiating thought there bond.
Realizing how rash she had been in the past, when dealing with a lot of the things. She know understood she could have made better choices. But she knew this time she had to warn them it was a strong feeling deep down in her marrow. She knew everyone she cared about would be glad to help if she would only give them the chance. The possibility of putting everyone in danger was the main thing she was struggling with. She didn't doubt her friends would gladly go to the end of the land's if that was what was needed of them. I hope it doesn't come down to that that Ree.
"I hope it doesn't either kiddo, we won't know until whatever it is show's its self." Ree thought to his rider.
They deserve to have the chance to protect themselves and what they care about. This place could be in danger, as could the rest of the land's. She couldn't fly off without letting them know, what was going on. Or at least as much as they knew so far......These were her last thought's before sleep finally caught up to Akria. It was going to be a long night for the girl and her dragon.
It had to gotten to the point over night her and Redemption, could not only feel it now they could faintly smell it.
Whatever was coming It had a lingering aroma of blood and fear. Unless you have been into many battle's, you would never even notice it's presence.
Redemption had assured her, they were the only one's who sensed the change's. Neither one of them could get much rest. Akira kept getting shivers, running through out her body. She sat leaning against here Dragon's body, drawing strength from his touch. What ever was out there was closer than it had been, they could both feel the ominous feeling's that were trying to consume them. They weren't sure how or why, they felt what resembled a connection. With the unseen force that was causing them so much undue distress, but they could. And to say the least it wasn't, a pleasant feeling for neither one of them.
She gently put his head in her lap, and ran her finger's along his face tracing every inch of it. "Ree what are we going to do about all of this?" "I'm not sure Akria, I'm just as confused about what is happening to us as you are. We have felt things in the past, but never to this extent it's time to talk to Linken and the rest of our friend's." "I agree with you whole heartedly. Redemption where would I be without you?" "Alone " was her dragon's answer she could tell he was amused. " Very funny Ree." Akria thought to him affectionately.
