Part 20 Homeward Bound

Destiny, was in the lead I, was sitting comfortably in the saddle behind Savannah. I, was excited to be on the way home, so I could see my dragon and Seth again. Along with all of my friend's. I, wondered what face's I, would be seeing that I, have missed for so long. I,was excited and scared in a way what if the main one I, wanted to see was not there? I, could not think that way, he would be there along with all the other's that I, love. I, had faith in my heart that thing's were going to be put right. Here I, thought to the dragon's as I, opened my mind to my time in the past. No sooner had I, opened my eye's than I, was right where I, wanted to be. Excitement rippled throughout my whole body, I was home.

Redemption, can you hear me boy? I, waited and got no reply. Oh no why isn't he answering? Ree, please answer me? "Hey kiddo, I thought you deserved to worry just a little bit." You silly wonderful dragon, what am I going to do with you?

"Well let's start with you not killing yourself again."

"Redemption, I can not promise you that if it mean's I, could save your life again. I would do it in a heartbeat."

"But the fact is Akria, you did not know it would save our lives." Ree, I did it because I, could not let you die in so much agony. At least if we died by my own hand it was done out of love and not spite. By some crazy women intent on making an innocent boy kill us just to keep his sister alive."

"Can you tell everyone to get themselves to the courtyard? They are not going to want to miss this." I, said to him. I, turned my head to let Ree, see what was behind me. "Oh boy, you are not kidding." I, couldn't help it I, laughed at his comment. "Do you think we will make a grand entrance?

"They won't know what to think. I could cause them to tumble, a few times, with a blow from my snout. And they still wouldn't know what had hit them."Ree snorted and said. "It will be grand alright."

" I am proud of you, and all that you have accomplished. Whatever the future holds in store for us good or bad I, will alway's be with you. In our heart, no one can ever change our love and devotion to each other. The fate's saw fit to pair us together and I'm thankful that they did Kiddo." "Thank you boy I feel the same way. Good or bad I, will alway's be with you also. I promise." I said to my beloved dragon.

Redemption, thought to the whole Academy. "Everyone in the courtyard now." In a voice that left no room for even the slightest bit of hesitation on even the instructer's part not to mention Brandon or Linken's.

Seth, ran out of the door hoping this meant what he thought it did. Redemption, was standing in front of the gate's to the academy looking up at the sky as if waiting for something. Seth, could tell he was trying to keep his composure. But Seth, could tell he was excited and his buddy was right beside him swishing his tail in excitement right along with Redemption.

The crowd was building in the courtyard Ree, thought to them to make as much room as possible. This confused Seth, but he didn't question the dragon everyone was looking up in the sky in anticipation.

Out of the cloud's came a dragon so yellow that it could rival the sun itself. Followed by dragon's of all sizes and color's dressed out in there full battle gear. There armor was shining in the light as if the color's in a rainbow had come to life. It was a beautiful sight to behold there were purples, green's, red's, brown's, pink's, grey,s, orange's, yellow's if you could think of a color it was there. There armor gleamed in the sunlight like polished jewels from a distance. This was a sight all of the people on the ground. Would remember for as long as they lived. There rider's were wearing the matching uniforms in the exact color of there dragon's. The rider's were sitting straight and tall with pride upon there dragon's back's. You could feel the pride radiating, from the rider's and there dragon's.
