Cassandra, decided it was time to visit the basement. To see how her special guest was doing. On the way, she was envisioning Akria's death in her mind. There were many different ways she could think of to kill her. None of them were as fitting as the one she had decided upon.

The fact of the matter, was that girl just wouldn't seem to die. With a bond like her and Redemption, shared they both should have died already. Today Akria, would die and nothing could stop it. This pleased her to no end.

The thought of this made her, feel giddy with excitement. She laughed with the sound of sheer madness, ringing throughout her voice.

The people who had recently heard her new laugh were terrified of her. She was even more demented now, than she was when Akria first arrived here. She was starting to show sign's of going mad.

Even her most trusted guard's, kept a good distance away from her. Scared she may flip out at anytime and decide she wanted to have them killed. For being in the wrong place, at the wrong time. It wouldn't be the first time, that she had someone killed recently.

They watched hesitantly as she was talking and mumbling to herself. "And by her own Rider's Sword no less." She said as she cackled evilly. " The very sword she uses to defend the people with, will be the one that end's her own pathetic and pitiful little life." How poetic she thought, while laughing strangely.

The crowd will be gathering soon, Cassandra thought. She had used almost all of her Night Watcher's too spread the word about," The Rider of Legend" being here.

She could only imagine the joy and hopefulness; the nasty, dirty, simple, and lice ridden, people must be feeling right now.  They were probably wondering what all Akria, was going to change around here?

" Nothing!" That was what Cassandra, thought as an answer. I don't even know how someone as pathetic as her, was chosen to be the revered " Rider of Legend." The people of all the land's, hailed her as a savior.

In all rights she should have been chosen as the Rider! She would make a way better one than that lowly peasant girl. Whose family burned up in a fire, it was a pity really. Cassandra thought, that Akria, was not burned up in the fire also. This thought made her laugh again at how smart she was. She cackled with mirth at her genius thought.

Cassandra didn't agree that she was a savior. To her Akria, was weak and she was nothing. She cackled at this thought again. The guards around her, shared worried glances with each other. The look's said more than words could begin to say. They conveyed to each other, how they each thought she was going insane. And to tread lightly around her if possible.

The people were probably wondering what new law's Akria, would be passing to allow there families to reunite. So many families were separated to ensure more production of grain's and green's and live stock etc....

Also many family member's were dead but hardly any one was aware of that fact. Except for Cassandra, and a few of her most trusted Night Watcher's. This was a well guarded secret.

They had invented Night Raider's to blame for the disappearances of whole families. Cassandra was smart when it came to getting what she wanted.

She couldn't wait to see there faces when they found out what Akria, was really brought here for. She could hardly control her glee, imagining the horror stricken looks. That Cassandra, was sure would be ingrained in all of there eye's and on there pitiful face's. When they saw there last hope destroyed.
