"Okay so..." I looked over the paint we had chosen, "we've got white for the main walls, the dark brown for the wall where the TV will be. Then we have white for our room, plus the blue feature wall. And then for the babies room we have white. Have a missed anywhere?" I asked looking at Matt. "That bathroom and toilet will be white," he said, "the tiles are being replaced to a beige colour, and I ordered the white vanity, toilet, and silver shower. Then in the kitchen we've ordered the grey cabinets and marble bench top. Then we've got the grey splash back. And my man cave is grey." I nodded and pictured all the rooms in my head. "Oh and the two guest rooms are grey! And we are getting grey carpets in all the bedrooms and the living room. The dinning room, kitchen, and corridor leading to the bedrooms is hard wood." "You've got it all figured out don't you," Matt smiled kissing my head. "I'm excited!" I grinned smiling. "I spoke to the agent and the builder. The kitchen and bathrooms are being started so they will be done once we move in. The hardwood floors will be polished also. Then we have to paint, they'll put in the carpet, and then we can put in all the furniture." I smiled and kissed Matt gently, "you are amazing you know. I wouldn't be able to do this without you." He smiled at me, "I don't want to do this with any one else but you. Now we have to decide what furniture we want to keep or not." I looked around Matts apartment- well, our apartment. It still had all the furniture I had chosen in it. "Why don't, you walk around and decide what you want to do with each piece okay?" He said handing me a pen and a pad of sticky notes. "Alright let's start here." I grabbed a note and wrote 'man cave' before sticking it to the couch. 'Keep' went on the dining table, as well as all the kitchen appliances. 'Man cave' went on nearly all the living room furniture. We decided we would put our bed, and the current guest bed into the two guest rooms. So we needed to buy a new bed for ourselves, all the baby furniture, a new TV, couch, and dining table, and kitchen stools. "Does that look about right?" I asked showing Matt the list of the things we would need to buy. "Yeah, it looks good. Plus a car seat and a pram for the baby." "Sounds perfect." I smiled.

"Do you want to start boxing some of this stuff up?" I asked. "If we are staying at Kelly and Shays then we won't need this." "Why not," Gabby smiled, "got any boxes?" I walked into the back room and pulled out all the boxes we had kept when we had first moved in here. I carried them back out and pulled one together for Gabby. "I'll start with the TV unit and all the books? If you start in the kitchen?" I nodded and took the box into the kitchen. Gabby and I were finally starting again, we had bought a house and everything was going smoothly. It was nice to see her so excited about something. I bubble wrapped all the appliances and placed them in the box with all the cutlery. I made up another box and did the same with all the glasses and plates. I could see Gabby was having a hard time stacking all the books into the box and she was getting frustrated with herself. "Hey," I said walking over to her and placing my hands on her shoulders, "It's okay to ask for help." I grabbed the books from the top shelf and then stacked them down in the box for her. "Thank you," she said with a small smile. "You are eventually going to have to ask me for help you know." "I know, I just didn't expect it to be this soon." I smiled and kissed her head, "I love you."
