"Uncle Matt what are you doing here?" Violet asked walking up to me. "Mum had to cover a shift after hers so she has to work tonight. She thought you might want to come hang out." "Yeah!" "Come on, let's go get you some clothes and then we are gonna head to Molly's for a bit okay?" "What's Molly's?" "It's a bar that Otis, Herrmann and Gabby bought and started up." "Sounds cool! Is Aunty Gabby home?" "No she's in Denver visiting her parents." Violet nodded and we got in my truck and drove to their place. "Hey Vi can you promise me something?" She looked towards me, "If your dad comes back to see you or your mum you tell me straight away okay?" "Yeah," she nodded as we got out of the car. After we had grabbed her clothes we drove to Molly's. I'd promised Herrmann I'd help set up because technically Gabby was supposed to be working tonight. "Wow this place is cool," Violet said getting out of the car and walking inside. "Yeah it sure is kid!" Herrmann laughed, "wanna help set up?" "What do you need me to do?" "You could put the candles onto the table." Violet nodded and grabbed them off the bar.

"We've missed you so much," my mama smiled. I leaned over and rested my head on her shoulder while my hands rested on my stomach. "I can't believe my baby girl is going to be a mum." I laughed and took my dads hand. "I'm still your baby girl, and we will come visit as soon as the baby is big enough to fly." "Do you know what you're having?" I shook my head, "no, we want a surprise." Little Eva crawled up onto my lap and I sat up and put by arms around her, "hello little miss. What are you doing?" "Cuddles Auntie Gabby." I smiled and kissed the top of her head as she leaned back against me. "You're getting tired my baby girl," Antonio said. "Do you want to go up to bed?" "Auntie Gabby take me?" "Sure," I smiled standing up. I placed her on my hip and and tucked my hair behind my ear. "Gabby you shouldn't be doing any heavy lifting," my mum said. "You sound like Matt," I laughed walking down the corridor to the bedroom and walked into the one Antonio was sharing with the kids. "Which bed are you sleeping in?" "Big one with daddy." I laid her down and pulled the blankets over her. "Sleep well angel" I smiled kissing her head. "Night night Aunty." "Goodnight beautiful girl." I closed the door to the bedroom and walked into mine to call Matt. I waited for him to pick up as I sat on the bed. "Hey baby." I smiled at his voice, "hi, how's your boring night alone?" "I'm with Violet actually. Christie had to cover a shift. We helped Herrmann at Molly's but we are home now." "Sounds nice." "How are the two of you?" "We are good. Our baby is practising to kick box but other than that we are fine," I said with a smile. "I'm glad to hear that. Have a good night okay?" "I will. You too. Tell Violet I said hi." "I will. Night Gabs, I love you." "I love you too, bye."
