Elena's POV:

"Let's not talk about it at the Grill because Damon's gonna be there." Caroline said as we finally decided to leave my house and hit the Grill. I wanted to be with Trixie as I'm so sure that she's so pissed but I'm so confused too. So, it's better to hang out with my friends and Stefan to clear my head.

"Okay!" Stefan, Bonnie and I said in unison. Stefan's driving, I'm at the passenger seat, Caroline and Bonnie are at the back seat.

"Elena, let me try compelling her tomorrow. Caroline is just a few months older as a vampire so it isn't that effective, I guess." Stefan said.

"Yeah, may be." Caroline piped in.

"If that doesn't work either then I'll touch her and tell you guys what I see about her." Bonnie said by putting her head between the front seats.

"Okay. I just hope that nothing's out of ordinary." I sighed. Stefan reached out his hand and squeezed my hand with a warm smile on his face which means 'Don't worry everything's gonna be okay.' I just nodded and leaned against the window.

As we'd expected Damon was there at the Grill by the bar. We got to the booth and settled down. Just then I remembered something and pulled out my mobile quickly from my back pocket.

'Jer, I'm out with Bonnie, Caroline and Stefan. Trixie's at home. You guys have dinner when Jenna comes. And Jer, please go give Trix the ice cream bucket. She's kinda pissed but don't tell her that I told you this.' I sent this text to Jeremy. Ice cream cools Trixie down. Hehe.

'Okay ;)' Jeremy's instant reply.

'I'm out. Don't wait for me. Have dinner when Jenna comes. Love you.' This text is to Trixie.

'Whatever.' Trixie's reply.

Gosh! She's really pissed.

As we were making our way out of the Grill, Damon tagged along saying that he's coming along to see Trix. Ugh, I couldn't do anything. So all of us piled inside my car.

We dropped Bonnie and Caroline in their housed before going to mine. It's 10:30pm. I hope Jenna, Jeremy and Trix had had their dinner and are off to bed.

Stefan pulled in front of my house and the three off us hopped out. I had keys with me so we just stepped in.

There's a such an adorable sight in front of us. Trix and Jeremy were passed out on the couch with Jeremy's head resting on her shoulder and her head on his. On her lap was the bucket of strawberry ice cream and she was holding on to the spoon still. I think she slept off halfway while devouring the ice cream.

"Damon, no!" As I was busy admiring baby sister and brother, Damon had walked to them and removed the spoon from her hand, slowly but I know what's gonna happen now.

Trixie flinched with her eyes opened and she also woke Jeremy up.

"Whaaat?" Jer whined groggily. Poor kid.

"I don't know." Trixie said rubbing her eyes and her head feel back on to the couch.

"Jer go to bed. It's just that Damon took off the ice cream spoon from Trix's hand." I said with a small smile.

"Oh, crap! Goodnight guys." With that Jeremy went upstairs to his room.

"Stop with that look, guys." Stefan and Damon were giving me questioning looks by standing on my either sides, with Damon giving numerous expressions.

"Ever since we were kids she would fall asleep halfway through her ice cream holding on to the spoon and if anybody take it from her, that's it, she would wake up and start crying. The crying had been stopped with the ageing, I guess." I answered their unasked question. Stefan and Damon chuckled. Seeing Damon chuckle, truly without any cockiness, for the first time, made me smile too.
