I'm so sorry for not updating for million years. I know many of you may have given up on me, thinking I was dead or something. 😋 I can understand. But I'm back. 😎 I mainly came back to finish this story. 😊 Just 5 or 6 more chapters ahead.

While going home, Jake and Edward somehow got out of the car saying that they've some business with the Salvatore brothers which was one big fat lie but Elena didn't  question them at all and they didn't wait for me to open my mouth. They disappeared once Elena gave a nod.

I was a tad bit happy that those guys aren't gonna be with us at home and so I'd be able to talk to Bella freely.

"You can take the guest room, if you want." Elena said to Bella once we reached our house. She nodded, of course, what else she could do or tell.

Elena said her goodnight and slipped inside her room. If you ask me, she said her goodnight to the walls because she didn't turn around to look at either of us. I think she was still upset about the scene she'd witnessed a few minutes ago at The Grill. I would look into that later.

For now, my main aim was to talk to Bella and sort things out between her and Edward.

"Bella, you could stay in my room because the guest room had been used by Jake till now." I mentioned Jake just to pull her to my room. No one would agree to sleep in a wolf's room, not me.

She looked at me for few seconds without any expressions, making it difficult for me to read her. Even if she had shown any expressions, I wouldn't be able to read anyone. I'm not Edward Cullen, remember?

She nodded and I took her to my room. Oh! It seemed that Bella had stopped by to drop her stuffs here, in my house before heading to The Grill. I helped her carry her bags up the stairs to my room.

She flopped down on my bed and sat still, staring at the floor. I left her to remain staring at the floor and stepped into my bathroom to change into my pyjamas. When I returned, she was still staring at the floor. Pft.

I walked to the window, put my head out, looked left and right. Once I found no trace of  vampires or werewolf.  I carefully brought my head back and closed the window, just in case.

"Now, tell me clearly what happened between you guys." I made it straight to the point.

She changed the position of her eyes, it was now staring at me or just looking. She sighed and started pouring out her flashback. 

After about fifteen minutes, yes, just fifteen minutes the flashback ended. It wasn't even that bad compared to my break up story. Let's not go there.

It seemed that she did think about becoming a vampire so that she could spend her eternity with Edward but her words were messed up in her head and came out wrong while Edward was reading it. And that's the reason for this whole misunderstanding. I don't trust her much but I have to reconnect them to make Edward happy.

"Thanks for telling everything. Before you leave Mystic Falls, I'll make sure that you'll leave with Edward as the lovebirds you were." I showed thumbs up.

She chuckled and nodded. I crawled inside my sheets while she left to restroom. As I snuggled inside my sheets, Damon's silk sheets and Damon's oh-so-cute blue eyes flashed in my head.

Damn! I squeezed my eyes and  tried to shake the images out of my stupid head. I heard Bella step out of my bathroom and come over to the bed. She slipped into the sheets. I couldn't tell which side she was facing.

"Goodnight, Trixie." I heard her say. I bet that she was smiling. A small smile found its way on my face either.

She isn't that bad after all.
