We got to the boarding house pretty late. I was supposed to meet Klaus by 7pm but we had reached only by 8pm, thanks to Voultri.
Rebekah offered me one of her dresses since mine got a bit dirty. I decided to remain in it even if it was dirty, not because Klaus had gifted me this dress, it was because I liked it a lot.
I could feel the tension in the air as I entered the boarding house. Everyone were present, the Cullens, Jenna, Alaric, Jeremy, Elena's friends, Jacob, Damon and him, Klaus. Oh there was Bella too, with a thing around her neck.
He was in a suit and looked kinda overdressed for this occasion. It was my birthday party and he wore that.
"Shut up, Trix." Edward chuckled. Errr, he had to get into my head. Edward was standing a few distance away from Bella but was in her vicinity.
The Salvatore house was lit up with lights which was there since the time of dawn but has never been used much untill now. It looked beautiful.
"What took you guys so long?" Elena asked as we reached the centre of the living room.
"Voultri happened." I said and looked over at the Cullens.
"What?" Carlisle and Alice asked in unison while others expressions mirrored the same.
Klaus looked worried too.
Rebekah told them what actually happened in brief.
"I'm just glad you're okay!" Jenna ran over to me and hugged.
"Let the party begin." Tyler announced and seemed so excited. Pft, it was my birthday dude.
"Before that..!" Klaus said and walked over to me.
Oh yeah! The party could wait. Klaus told that he was gonna say about my mom.
"I gave you my word and I'm gonna keep it up." Klaus said holding my hand with both of his hands and with a warm smile.
"Yeah, I couldn't think of anything else too from the moment you mentioned my mom." I smiled back at him.
"We want to hear it too." Elijah added.
Klaus looked at his brother, gave an assuring smile before turning back to me.
"Trixie dear, I'll tell you how I know your mother. But before that I would like to say something else." Klaus said, getting a 'come on' from Damon, 'What the?' from Jacob.
I thought he was gonna postpone this revelation for someother day and was getting restless and disappointment was creeping in.
"You're my daughter, Trixie Mikaelson."
