I'm gonna try out 3rd person POV for the first time :) Hope it's readable.

Damon and Trixie got to the boarding house. Trixie was crying through the ride from Elena's house. Seeing your bestfriend yelling at you without hearing to the story completely hurts really bad.
"What exactly happened on that day?" Damon brings that up, once Trixie is done with her dinner and she was carried to Damon's room.
"As much as I hate to recall that memory, I gotta tell you guys about it. But I just need some time. Moreover, Elena has to hear it out as well." Trixie tries to reason out and push the topic aside, somehow.
"Fine." Damon sighed. "Good night." He kissed her on forehead before leaving his room. She loved his silk covers, the last time she slept in it, and so she wanted to sleep in his room.
Damon hit the living room, poured some bourbon for himself and watched the fireplace with Trixie's crying face flashing in his mind, now and then. Of course it disturbed him. She's his best friend, actually, the only friend who doesn't hate him.
With his superhearing ability, he heard a car being pulled up. Stefan entered along with another person trailing behind him.
Jacob Black.
Damon was already feeling worried, seeing his best friend, Trixie cry and all that. So, his emotions got converted to a bit of anger while seeing the person who caused it. Jacob.
Damon lunges at Jacob but he gets stopped by Stefan.
"Leave him, Stefan. I deserve it." Jacob mumbled, with his head hung down.
Damon gasped and kept staring at Jacob. Then, after getting tired of the awkward silence in the place, Damon decides to break it.
"Why are you here?" Damon asked Jacob, still glaring at him.
"I just came to take Trix back home." Jacob said, coolly.
"What?" Damon growled and magnified his staring a little more. If he could shoot out fire or laser, then it might've burned Jacob, that intense.
"Um- I think it's better for her to stay here, overnight. We'll drop her in Elena's house tomorrow." Stefan said, in his usual calm tone.
Jacob had no other choice, other than to leave her here with two bloodsuckers. He was a bit okay with Stefan but he couldn't bring himself to trust Damon. Of course, everyone has the same problem, except for Trixie and that's why she means a lot to Damon.
"Fine." Jacob agreed, at last but shoots a disapproving look at Damon.
"Um- wolf boy. Just get one thing straight in the thick head of yours. I can clearly tell what you're thinking right now. Trixie is safe being with me than being with you because I'll never leave her and choose someone else." Damon indirectly meant that he wouldn't do like how Jacob did back at Elena's house.
"Of course you wouldn't." Jacob said sarcastically trying to imply that any guy would leave a girl who's just a friend for a girl whom they love.
"For your information, I just staked a girl through her heart, this morning because she tried to hurt Trixie. And that girl was whom I loved deeply for over a century. Just wash your heart and decide your priorities for people who really worth it and not just because you blindly love a person." Damon spoke so seriously, looking gravely at Jacob in the eye. What Damon just said, shocked Stefan and Jacob.
The thing that shocked Stefan was, he didn't know Damon would go after Katherine all the way to stake her and Jacob was shocked to hear that Damon had staked a girl whom he loved for over 100 years. Jacob also started to realize a bit that, what Damon had said about priorities was so true.
Stefan was staring at Damon, admiringly, knowing that his brother has feelings for a girl other than Elena and the feelings were so genuine and selfless.
Jacob sighs and leaves the Salvatore house.
"Damon?" Stefan called out, once Jacob leaves and both of them settle down on the couch, across from the fireplace. Damon raises his brow, at his younger brother, asking him to go on.
"You are growing soft. I think you like Trixie, as more than a friend." Stefan said with a smug smile on his face.
Damon gives him a 'WTF' look and continue to drink his burbon after shaking his head. But he didn't protest or say some cocky or witty remark to it.
Stefan noticed the lack of remarks and his smug smile grew into a toothy grin. He left to his room after letting out a chuckle and patting on his big brother's shoulder.
Damon, still had 'WTF' look on his face but once Stefan left, a small, cute smile crept up on his face. He gulped down his bourbon and took off upstairs, to his room.
Trixie was sleeping peacefully but she'd cried to sleep. The pillow cover was a bit wet where her head was rested. Damon took off his shirt, as usual, and crawled in next to her and hugged her closer to his chest.
"I'll never let anyone make you cry anymore." With that he kissed her on forehead and drifted off to sleep.
Damon must've forgot that Stefan's in this house either. Stefan, obviously, heard what Damon had just said and smiled dreamily looking up at the ceiling. Stefan was so happy to see his brother like this.

I'd a feeling that 3rd person POV sucked majorly. Please, be free to admit it. :D
