Elena's Cousin( The Vampire Diaries/Twilight crossover)

Thirteen

Bonnie heard some weird sounds at the other end but she assumed it was Trixie's mobile phone falling down or Trixie breaking the stuffs in anger.

"What the hell?" Jeremy exclaimed by seeing the unconscious Trixie lying on the floor on her stomach with some blood near her head.

"JENNA, GET OVER HERE SOON." Jeremy knelt down and turned Trixie around and placed her head on his lap. He was scared shitless by seeing his cousin being so lifeless in front of his eyes. Jenna rushed to the place along with Alaric in tow and froze in her place after seeing her niece in a bloodied state and nearly lifeless state either.

"What happened?" Jenna crocked out, finally.

"We're running out of time. Let's get her to the hospital." Alaric carried Trixie in bridal-style and stormed out of the house and asks the other two to follow him too.

"Get in the car. We can't wait for ambulance or anything." Jeremy had already hopped inside the driver seat and started the car. Jenna helped Alaric get in at the back seat and she was still in shock, she walked like a zombie and slide into the passenger seat with her eyes only on Alaric who was having Trixie in his lap.

Jeremy drove really fast and reached hospital in few minutes. Trixie was immediately taken to emergency room in a stretcher. Jenna and Alaric waited in the waiting room while Jeremy stepped out of the hospital to make a call to Elena.

On the other side, Damon and Stefan were taken to the Lockwood's property in woods that looked like a prison by the cops but Caroline showed up in time and saved the Salvatore brothers.

Elena helped Stefan and Bonnie tried her level best to help Damon. Jacob was just standing there just for the sake of being there and for Elena.

"Are you gonna die or something?" Jacob asked Damon, expectantly.

"Only in your dreams, wolf boy." Damon smirked.

Caroline was busy convincing her mom about her being a vampire and all that. Jacob took his mobile out to do something to keep him occupied and he saw a text from Alice. Jake felt so weird about receiving a text from her. He might've deleted it if it was from Edward.

Jake kinda paled as he read Alice's message about the vision. He didn't inform Elena or anyone there, as he didn't wanna increase the amount of tension in the air. So, Jake decided to call Trixie to check on her but the call gets disconnected after a full ring. This only made Jake to get more panic. As Jake was about to tell Elena about Alice's vision, Elena's phone rang.

"Hey, Jeremy. Can I call you later?" All Elena wanted to do at the moment was to take care of Stefan.

"Wait, wait. Something happened." Jeremy started slowly yet he was impatient.

"What happened Jer?" Elena became nervous since Jeremy sounded a bit frightened.

Jeremy had no idea how he was gonna convey the message.

"Um- Trixie fell off of the stairs and now she's in hospital. Unconscious." Jeremy, somehow blurted out everything.

Elena's eyes popped out and she dropped the mobile but Jake caught it in time and heard about Trixie's fall from Jeremy.

"What's wrong, Elena?" Stefan asked cupping her face as tears started flooding out of her eyes.

"Trix-" She couldn't even talk, let alone tell them what had happened to Trixie. Jake stepped in and informed them.

"What?" Damon gasped and looked so damn worried. Damon was out in a blink of an eye, heading to the hospital. Caroline, Bonnie and Stefan were equally shocked and all of them decided to go to the hospital.

"What happened?" Damon got to the hospital before the others, obviously. He held Jeremy by his throat and slammed him against the wall.

"Damon, just calm down. We're equally worried too." Alaric tried prying Damon off of Jeremy. He did too.

Jeremy told him what actually happened. Damon was already feeling so worried and now he felt worse. But nobody knew that she fell after that shocking phone call from Bonnie.

While all of them were sharing worried looks, Elena and others arrived and Jenna was called by the doctor to report about Trixie's condition.

"Is she gonna be okay?" Jenna asked once she and Alaric entered the room where a man around fifties was seated behind the desk.

"Take your seat." Doctor beckoned them to take their seats and then went through some X- rays and some reports of Trixie.

"I hope she gets better in two days. She's fallen into coma." Doctor dropped a huge bomb on Jenna's head. Alaric was stunned too.

"What?" Alaric and Jenna shouted in unison and startled the doctor. He gave a nod, hesitantly.

"Bu-but she only hit her head in the front." Alaric stammered.

"According to her reports she'd already hit her head at the back before hitting the front of her head. I witnessed it myself while dressing her wounds." He reasoned out and that only made the tension increase even more.

Jenna gasped and covered her mouth in disbelief and fear while fresh tears poured out. Alaric had no idea what to do, whether to console Jenna or worry about Trixie.

Jenna and Alaric decided to convey this information to others.

'Whats' and 'Oh my Gods' were heard when they informed Elena and others. Jake wanted to beat himself up for not seeing the text message earlier. The guilt was eating him up. Damon looked so lost, only now he understood that how much he likes Trixie and he wouldn't be able to be normal without her. Elena was crying without break.

"Let's hope for the best. We still have two days time. She'll surely wake up." Stefan tried a scoop of his positive energy. It did work though.

Jake's phone rang. He didn't wanna answer it after seeing the person's name on the screen.

Edward.

Jake knows that he'd get yelled at for being so careless and all that but he'd no other go.

"Edward?" Jake decided to inform him that Trixie's in coma.

"I'm in Mystic Falls. Come and take me to Trixie." Edward disconnected the call immediately after that.

Jake stood there, almost frozen.
