Six

After dinner all of us said our good nights and left to bed. Stefan, Damon, Caroline, Bonnie and Alaric left to their places saying that they've some more to talk about tomorrow. When I came up to my room, I found Damon on my bed. Awe. I walked to the bed and sat beside him and leaned my head against his shoulder.

"I can't believe you went through so much, butterfly." Damon said placing his hand over my cheek.

"There's some more." I whispered but he'd have heard it anyway with his super hearing ability.

"What?" He asked, holding my face in between his palms.

"I'll tell tomorrow." I said. I'm so tired of crying and all that. He nodded and rested his forehead against mine.

"The thing I said today... I really meant it." He said and I nodded.

After sometime I grabbed my PJs and changed into it in the bathroom. Since I've vampire friends here, I gotta be more careful with where I change and all that.

I crawled inside the sheets and so did Damon with a cute smirk.

"Sleep." He said, stroking my cheek and kissed my forehead. I drifted off to sleep as I wrapped my hand around him and leaned against his chest.

Next day when I woke up, Damon wasn't there like usual. I walked to the bathroom with one eye closed, since I'm not out of sleeping state yet and brushed my teeth before going downstairs to eat something. I'm feeling so hungry that I postponed my bath. It's weekend anyways. I climbed down the stairs and made my way to the kitchen but stopped before entering.

What the? Everyone was already assembled in kitchen.

"You guys got here this early to resume with story telling?" I gasped.

"It's 11am." Jenna deadpanned. What 11am?!! Did I sleep in that long?

"Sweetheart, your hair is cute." Damon smirked from the dining table.

I placed my hand over my head and yelped. I could feel a bird's nest over my head. I screamed and ran upstairs with people in dining table laughing at me.

I quickly took a shower after witnessing my bird's nest hair and put on sweatpants and a tank top before heading back to the kitchen. I glared at Damon for teasing me before and he pretended to be hurt. Jerk.

"Good morning, everyone." I grinned after dragging a chair and settling down in it beside Jeremy. I shot a 'Give me some food' look at Jenna and she quickly served me my breakfast. The others were talking about something. I'm partially deaf when I'm hungry.

"So where are we gonna do the talk today?" I asked after finishing my breakfast.

"Um how about in the living room or here?" Elena asked, looking at everyone.

There erupted some overlapped answers.

"Who wants it in living room? Raise your hands." Caroline ordered. My hand was the second thing to rise up in the air while Caroline's was first. But no one else raised their hand.

"Are you guys, five?" Damon asked, annoyed by mine and Caroline's retarded behavior.

"Are you eighty?" I snapped back at him.

"Elder than that, cupcake." Damon smirked.

"Oops, sorry. I forgot that you're a vampy." I sighed and turned to look at the others.

"Living room's fine." Jenna concluded and all of us rose up and headed to living room. Damon came to my side and wrapped his hand around my waist. When Elena and Jenna noticed it, they looked uncomfortable and Jenna gave me a stern look and so I removed his hand from my waist but held on to his hand. Hehe.
