I imagine Lydia's character played by the (amazing and beautiful) Rowan Blanchard. She is amazing:)

After our huge snow fight- which the twins and I won- we head back up to the common room. We quickly get changed in our separate dorms, before sitting in front of the fire. We'd been sitting there for a few minutes when I suddenly remember Draco's letter- and Fred's present.

I tell the boys that I'd be back in a second and head up to my room. I pick up the letter from the bedside table, where I had left it next to the bracelet box.

"Dear Lydia,

Thanks for the chocolate- who knew muggles were so good at making it? And it was a nice change from having it jump into your face! (I'm looking at you chocolate frogs)!"

I chuckle quietly to myself. I continue to read,

"Anyway, I hope you got the bracelet. I thought it was cool. Maybe we could hang out once school goes back? Possibly talk about what happened last term in the library?

See you soon!

Draco"

I smile and put the letter back with the bracelet. I'm about to go find Fred's gift when I realise- "talk about what happened"... he meant the kiss. He's going to tell me he doesn't like me, right? Oh, Merlin. I shake my head- I don't know what he'll say until it comes to it, right? I push the thoughts to the back of my mind and search for Fred's present.

I find it next to my trunk- well, half hidden by my trunk, I mean. I open it. 'Sweet!' I say to an empty dorm. It has a huge selection of pranks and then at the bottom there is a single heart shaped chocolate labeled "Honeydukes". I'd heard of that shop- it sold candy!

I give a small smile as I think about Fred's corniness. Next thing, I'm flouncing down to the boys in the common room. They're still shivering.

'I'll go down to the kitchens and ask the house elves for some hot chocolate, aye?' I ask.

'I'll come,' says Harry, like I knew he would.

-----

After about 10 minutes, we're sitting in front of the fire, each of us with a steaming mug of hot chocolate in our hands. Harry and I asked them for it, and then I had the genius idea of them sending it up to the common room, instead of us carrying five hot mugs between the two of us.

I'm sitting on the floor, on one side of the fire. Ron's opposite me, and Harry and the twins are on the couch. George placed himself between Fred and Harry purposely, even though that didn't stop Harry's glares. I was extremely annoyed at Harry- he has no right to say who can and can't like me!

If I let him decide who I went out with, I'd be forever alone. A crazy owl lady, maybe. But just think, if he hates the idea of Fred and I, well, he's got another thing coming with Draco.

I think the two main reasons why he doesn't like Fred and I are: one- Fred's two years older than me. And, 2- Fred is Harry's best friend's brother. Which shouldn't really matter.

And the soul reason he hates Draco and I- he hates Draco. I don't even know why. When I asked him why he said, 'He's a bad person, Lyds, okay?'. When I asked him why he thought that all I got was a, 'He just is,' which, obviously, did not answer my simple question.

I really like Draco, and want to go out with him, but do I dare go against Harry? I know I just said all that stuff, by my brother... back home, he's all I have. He's my best friend, he always has been. I need to write to Hermione, that's what I need to do.
