That night we set out to find the mirror. With all three of us under the cloak, we moved very slowly. It probably could of fit Hermione, too, but we'd have to test that theory when she got back from break.
Ron complained about how his feet hurt. 'Oh, boohoo,' I mutter, sarcastically.
'It's cold. Let's turn back and forget about it,' Ron says.
'No,' I reply. 'I need to see my Mum and Dad.'
Suddenly Harry points ahead. 'That armour! It's just here,' Harry grins, leading us into a room.
We step in and pull off the cloak. Harry runs over to the big mirror against the wall. 'See? Do you see them?'
Ron and I look at each other as if Harry were mad. 'Uh, we can't see anything?' I say, cautiously. Ron adds, 'we can only see you.'
Harry waves us over. 'Look properly, stand here,' my brother points to the space next to him.
I shrug at Ron and we walk over. I couldn't see anything. Just my brother and Ron's reflections, next to my own. Harry seems to see the same thing. 'Do you see your family?' Harry asks Ron. I look over and notice the way he's staring at the mirror, eyes wide.
'No. I'm alone. I'm... different- older. And I'm Head Boy!'
'Huh?' I ask, as Harry goes 'What?'
'I am. It's a badge like Bill's old one. Oh, wow! I'm even holding the house cup! And the Quidditch cup! Bloody hell, I'm the Quidditch captain, too!' Ron smiles, eyes still wide.
'Do you think the mirror shows the future?' Ron asks, once he's finally looked back and Harry and I.
'Couldn't do,' says Harry. 'My family is, well, dead.'
'Can I have a look?' I ask, mentioning the boys to move aside.
I look into the mirror and instantly blush. My family are around me. I'm older, like Ron. My family are all congratulating me- including Harry. I am Head Girl. Next to me is the thing that made me blush. Draco is there- older, too. He's Head Boy. He has his arm around me... I think we're dating.
'Well, what do you see?' Asks Ron.
'I see our family Harry,' I smile. 'I'm Head Girl... wow.' I decide to leave off the part about Draco. Harry would get all annoyed and I was to happy to have seen Mum and Dad to deal with that. I look into the mirror, at my mum. She's so pretty! I look over at Dad. He looks just like Harry- or does Harry look just like him? I look at myself. I have my mother's features, hair type (i.e: not messy) and eye colour, but Dad's dark hair colour. I've never been happier.
'I'm going to look again,' says Harry and in an instant, my family, Draco and my badge are gone.
'No! Let me look again! You had it all to yourself last night!' Ron says. 'I want more time to look.'
'You're holding a couple of cups. That's not very exciting,' Harry says, loudly. 'I want to see my family!'
'Sssh!' I hush them, picking up the cloak. I point to the door. We just make it under the cloak when Mrs Norris comes around the door. I can tell the three of us are thinking the same thing: 'Can the cloak work on cats?' Finally, she turned and left.
The boys are about to go back to the mirror. 'No. It's not very safe- she's probably off to Filch,' I say. We head back up to the tower and off to bed.

Next morning, I walk down to the common room to hear a terribly boring conversation.
