If I wasn't so worried about the task ahead, I might felt sorry for Hagrid. It's dark and cloudy, judging by the view from the window to my left. We're late to Hagrid's, as Peeves is attempting to play tennis in the Entrance hall.

Eventually, I decide to do my best "teacher imitation" voice and say, 'Peeves, I want you out of here immediately, or I'm getting the Bloody Baron.' Much to my surprise, he leaves. We troop down to Hagrid's, slowly, making sure the cloak is over us all.

Hagrid has Norbert ready. 'He's got enough rats and brandy for the journey.. and I packed his teddy so he wouldn't get lonely,' he sniffs.

I hug Hagrid. 'It's okay! You still have us guys- and you're friends in the forest!' Hagrid smiles appreciatively. 'I'll still miss him...' As he says this, however, there is a big ripping noise. It goes unnoticed by Hagrid, but I can tell the other three are thinking the same as me: his teddy is no more.

'Bye bye, Norby! I'll miss you, boy!' sobs Hagrid. We cover the crate and ourselves with the cloak. 'Mommy will miss you!'

Midnight is gaining on us, second by second, is time is getting shorter. We hurry up to the tower. We used one of Harry's short-cuts, even though it didn't really help.

We were almost there when there is a sudden noise up ahead, which makes us shrink into the wall. Two dark out lines stood ahead of us- one larger than the other by a margin.

As they came closer, they were distinguishable by the lamp the taller figure was carrying. I almost gasp, but catch myself just in time.

It was Draco, being pulled by the taller McGonagall, who had him by the ear. McGonagall had on a tartan dressing gown and a hair net. Draco was wearing a sweatshirt (which I now plan to steal) and pyjama pants with broomsticks and Quaffles on them. I smirk to myself, knowing I can use this against him.

'Twenty points from Slytherin! I think you deserve a spot of detention, also! Walking around at midnight! Ms Potter wasn't involved I trust?' McGonagall says. I feel my cheeks burn at the mention of my name.

'No, Professor! But Harry Potter is! He's coming, too! Soon- and with a dragon!'

'How dare you tell such lies! I'm going straight to Professor Snape about you, Mr Malfoy!'

After that, climbing the steep spiral staircase was easy. As we stepped into the cold night air, we removed the cloak.

Hermione looks at me testily, seems to make up her mind about something and says, 'Malfoy's got detention! I could sing!'

'Don't you dare,' I warn. She shrugs. Harry smiles, 'I'd love to, but I wouldn't recommend it.'

They chuckle about Malfoy for a while, ignoring me, because I have my arms crossed and am rolling my eyes. Norbert thrashes around in his crate, for about ten minutes, until four broomsticks come into view. They swoop down towards us.

Charlie's mates are a happy bunch. First they show us the harness they've rigged, so Norbert can be suspended between them. Next, they get us to help them get Norbert into the harness safety. We thank them and wish them a safe, happy journey. 'Thank you!' they grin, before getting on their brooms, ready to go.

Norbert is going, going, gone. Finally  no more dragon stress!

We slip back down the stair case. 'I feel like we're missing something...' I whisper, trying to shoo away the uneasy feeling settling in my chest.

There was no more dragon, and my boyfriend was in detention. What could make my annoying brother happier? We tap down the last step, finding the answer right there in front of us.
