'W..why?,' she asks. 'Did Harry say something about you meeting Draco?'

'He did.'

She hugs me and hands me some chocolate. 'How'd you get that?' I grin at her.

'You didn't think I'd bring chocolate?!' she hugs me and drags me off to the common room.

Next morning, I wake up, feeling normal. Harry and I were back to normal again- I guess. Draco and I were still close as anything. Hermione was still practically the sister I never had. Things were good.

We'd just finished breakfast when we heard a flurry of wings and a hoot or two. A long package comes in, carried by two owls. They put it down in front of Harry, along with a letter, much to his surprise. I lean over the table to see the note. It was lucky that Harry opened the note first, because inside the package was a Nimbus Two Thousand! I'd read about those... they were the best and the fastest AND the newest broom on the market!

We go up to the common room to get our books and drop off the parcel, which Harry slides under his bed.

-----

Late that afternoon, Harry ran down the stairs- clutching his new broomstick- with me in tow. Ron was in the front. We were watching out for people. We didn't want anyone seeing and reporting it to the wrong teacher. Such as Snape.

'Incoming!' came a sharp whisper, from the red head in the front.

'Potter,' came Draco's drawl. I realise he hasn't seen me yet. 'Hey! That's a broomstick! I'm going to tell Snape! You'll be chucked out in no time,' he laughs coldly.

'It's not just any broom, Malfoy,' said Ron. 'It's a Nimbus Two Thousand!'

Draco looks slightly impressed, but then wipes the look off quickly. 'It'll be a shame, you know? When it's taken off you. And your expelled.' Harry narrows his eyes at him. 'I'll go tell Snape right now, aye?'

'Not if my sister has anything to do about it,' growls Harry.

Draco looks at him in surprise. 'What? What's Lydia doing?'

'My cue,' I say to no one in particular, starting down the steps. 'Hiya.'

'Oh, um, hey Lydia,' Draco starts.

'Harry has permission to have the broom. You won't be able to do anything, so maybe you should just forget about it,' I smile at Draco. He half smiles back.

'Oh, okay. Whatever,' he says, giving me a wave good bye. 'Goodbye, Potter,' he says to Harry. 'Later, Weasley.' And then he's gone.

Harry looks up at me. 'Benefits of your enemy being in love with your sister,' he smirks.

I slap him on the back of the head. 'He doesn't love me!' I hear all Harry and Ron try to suppress their 'mhmm's and laughter. 'Oh, shove off! Let's just go!' I huff.

Ron and I climb into the stands to watch Harry's first training. It looks so fun... I kind of wish I could play, too. But quidditch is Harry's thing.

We sat up high in the stands, watching as Oliver Wood (who I must mention was pretty cute) showed Harry the ropes to quidditch. Ron was explaining the rules, positions of players and each ball's job to me, when suddenly a gold ball caught my eye. 'What is that?!' I gasp.

'That's the snitch. It flies around and the seeker- that's Harry- tries to catch it, before the other team's seeker,' Ron explains. 'When he catches it, the game ends and his team gets an extra 150 points.'

'So, pretty much, everyone relies on Harry?' I ask slowly.

'No. Well, yeah, kind of. I suppose,' Ron pauses, as if he's thinking. 'I suppose,' he repeats.

Next Harry and Oliver were in the sky, Oliver throwing golf balls in every direction for my brother to catch. He didn't miss a single one. I don't think I've ever been prouder of my brother.

And soon enough Harry the seeker, and Oliver the (cute) keeper were packing the case of ball away. The duo of Ron and I started down the steps to meet Harry.

Once we're joined up with Harry we walk back to the castle. Harry would not shut up about quidditch, until we reached the great hall.

The feast was about to start, just as we slipped through the doors. Draco looks up and sneers at Harry and Ron. They don't notice and move away to the table. He sees me and smiles. I smile slightly and shake my head. Hermione had entered the hall just before us, so she leads the way to the Gryffindor table. She sits on one side of Harry, Ron on the other. I slip in my usual place, in between the twins. 'Hiya,' I whisper, as the plates start to fill with food.
