Once I pulled myself together, like I’ve done so many times before, I pack whatever I had taken out and called my dad. He bought me a plane ticket for the next flight home. I knew just leaving wasn’t the best thing, but who am I kidding Niall left and I’m sure he won’t come back. I didn’t even get to tell him the rest and the rest was when it got better.

My flight leaves in an hour and a half. I looked at myself in the mirror before taking my bags and shutting the door behind me before leaving the hotel room. I walked down the hall to the elevators and stared at the floor the entire time. My hair fell into my face but I just left it. I walked into the lobby and bumped into someone.

“(y/n)?” I looked up slightly and saw Liam. “Where are you going?”

“Home.” I said, starting to walk away.

“Why?” he asked running up behind me.

“We broke up.” I said coldly, walking faster to the door.

“Why?”

“Just ask him, Liam!” I yelled running out the door and catching a cab as quickly as possible.

By the time I got to the airport and through security there was an hour left until my plane left. I sat down on a chair in the terminal and put my iPod on, remembering to turn down the volume to avoid stares. I sat and watched the planes come and go. I sat and even watched my own flight leave me behind. I couldn’t just leave. I felt numb and frozen in place. I check the time on my phone and my plane left an hour ago. I had received a few calls from the hotel’s number and several texts from Niall.

I listened to the voicemails and they all were just the sounds of his huffing in frustration and the slam of him hanging up. I then read through the texts.

*Liam told me you left.*

*Why would you leave?*

*You’re probably at the airport now. Please don’t leave, (y/n)*

*Please.*

*You probably left by now. I’m sorry. I’ll miss you.*

*Call me when you get home. Please.*

The tears began to flow again. I was shaking as I pressed him name and listened to the ringing. It rang more than five times before I almost gave up. He answered as soon as I was about press end.

“(y/n)? Are you okay? Are you home? I’m so sorry. I shouldn’t have left you in your room. I’m sorry. Please don’t hate me. I never intended on hurting you.” He spoke fast.

“Niall, stop. I didn’t get on the plane.”

“You’re still here? Where are you?” I stood up and wheeled my luggage out to the pick-up area.

“I’m getting in a cab.”

“Where are you going?”

“I’m coming back. We need to talk. I didn’t get to finish what I needed to say.”

“You didn’t? I don’t know if you should tell me. I don’t need to know everything. It was the past.”

“I need to tell you. If we are going to be together you have to know everything. It will make me feel better. Okay?” I said, getting into the backseat of the cab.

“Okay.” He mumbled.

“I’ll be there in fifteen minutes.”

“I’ll be waiting.”

I arrived at the hotel and Liam and Harry were waiting outside. They took my luggage and insisted on taking it to my room. They told me to go straight to Niall’s room. I took the elevator to the seventh floor and took a deep breath before stepping into the hall. I walked down until I reached his room, taking another deep breath as I knocked lightly on the door.
