The plane ride was dreadful, but stepping outside of the airport was like heaven. The weather was incredible. It was night, so after getting my luggage and finding the driver, Ariel and I headed to the hotel. We pulled up and just my luck, hundreds of girls crowded the entrance. This was something I knew too well. I just knew this wasn’t for me.

The driver came around and opened the door. Ariel got out before me and started pushing a path for me to walk. I got out and I heard a few screams. I stopped for the few girls that asked for a picture.

“Hey, you went out with Niall!” I heard someone yell.

“’Went’ being the key word.” I said, signing someone’s phone case.

“Was Niall a good boyfriend?” the girl in front of me asked shyly.

“He was a gentleman.” I replied with a smile and moved down the path.

“(y/n) I love you!” was the last thing I heard as I walked into the hotel lobby.

I couldn’t believe some of them actually knew who I was other than being Niall’s ex. I got to my room and checked my twitter. Yes, I have one now. All my friends do and it’s a good way to know what they are up to. I saw Heather mentioned me in a tweet.

@heatherloveu: I really miss my best friend, @official(y/n) I wish she was at school with me. #Loveyou

I replied,

@official(y/n): @heatherloveu I love and miss you too, I’ll be sure to bring something back for you. #dontforgetme lol

I scrolled through more mentions and saw a few about the ones who I met tonight and followed them. Then I received this,

@bbloves_1d: Not only did I get a pic with @NiallOfficial  but I met and got a follow from the beautiful @official(y/n)!!!

That definitely confirmed that they were here, in this hotel, right now. I sighed and turned the TV on to try and forget. I changed into my pajamas and watched a movie until I fell asleep.

When I woke up the next morning Ariel had already laid out my clothes and had breakfast waiting for me. She was standing out on the balcony talking on her phone. I got up and went to the bathroom then sat down at the desk and ate my breakfast. Ariel was still on the phone by the time I got in the shower. After I got out of the shower and changed and did my hair and make-up, Ariel and I went down to the lobby to wait for the driver and to meet my bodyguard for this Australian trip.

I was sitting in a chair near the center of the lobby when I saw two feet appear in front of me as I scrolled through my phone. They person cleared their throat and I looked up to meet the hazel eyes of my ex-boyfriend’s band mate.

“Hello Harry.” I sighed, looking back at my phone.

“How are you, (y/n)?” he asked sitting down in the chair next to me.

“I’m doing quite well. I’m doing very well.” I smiled.

“I’ve heard. Congrats on your music.”

“Thanks.” I grinned at him and saw Ariel walking up behind him with a tall bald buff man.

“(y/n), this is Chuck.” Harry and I both looked up at them. “You’re body guard.”

I stood up and shook his hand. “Nice to meet you.” I smiled.

“Okay, we must go now if we want to be there on time.” Ariel said, taking my hand and pulling me away.

I yanked away from her and Harry stood up. “Sorry, I have to go, but maybe I’ll see you later, yeah?”

“Yeah sure, just give me your number. The boys and I have a day off today. We can meet up later.” He handed me his phone and I typed in my number.
