Louis stood up and reached out for my hand, helping me up. He pulled me down the hall to where Niall was recording and Louis barged in. I stood silently by the door.

“Niall, I think you’re good. You should go be with (y/n).” he said.

“But-“

“Now.” Louis gave him a look and Niall looked towards the door at me.

He took his headset off and passed Louis and he got to me. He looked worried and I’m sure he could see how red and puffy my eyes and face were.

“What happened?” he brushed his thumbs along my cheekbones, before he pulled me to him.

“(y/n) I can tell him if you want.” Louis suggested.

I nodded my head as it was still buried in Niall’s neck. I pulled away and went to the lounge room to get mine and Niall’s coats. Harry looked up as I walked in.

“Are you okay?”

“Not really, but I’m leaving, now. Hopefully I’ll see you before I leave.” I gave him a hug.

“(y/n).”

“Harry.” I sighed. “Louis will tell you. I really have to go. Niall might be waiting.”

I gave Liam and Zayn a hug, both of them just as confused as Harry, but Zayn was a little less.

I saw Louis and Niall walking down the hall and Louis nodded at me, telling me he told him everything. I looked down at my feet as they approached me. Niall stood in front of me and lifted my head up by my chin.

“From now on, you tell me shit like this.” I nodded and tried not to cry again.

Niall turned to Louis and gave him a quick hug and shook his hand. I gave him a hug too, while Niall put his coat on.

“Thanks Louis.” I gave him a small smile and he hugged me again.

Niall took my hand and led us outside and to his car. He opened the door for me then walked over to his side, getting in and buckling. His hand found mine again and I could tell he was watching me. I glanced at our hands sitting on the middle console and his thumb ran up and down my fingers.

“I thought we were strong.”

“We are, but I’m not strong by myself.” I bit my lip and looked up at his eyes that were filling with tears.

“You’re not by yourself. I’m here and now you know the boys are too. Baby, you can’t keep this stuff to yourself. If you don’t want to tell me, tell someone else. Keeping it bottled up, it’s not healthy.” I nodded. “I love you, okay?”

I nodded again. “You just love your fans so much I didn’t want you to know.” I looked down again.

“The ones that say that shit to you, they aren’t fans of mine or the boys. Our true fans will accept the people we have in our lives.”

“I’m pitiful.” I said under my breath.

“No. you’re not.” He raised his voice. “You’re my girlfriend. The love of my life. Again, I don’t pity you. When my baby is sad, I have to make her happy, that’s what a good boyfriend is supposed to do.” I looked out my window and he squeezed my hand. “What do you want to do?”

I looked at him and watched his sad gaze travel from our hands up to my eyes. “I want to go home.” He turned his head and started the car. “I mean your house, Niall.”

He let out a breath and relaxed.

When we got to Niall’s house, I immediately went and sat on the couch. Niall went upstairs to get a blanket and I turned the TV on.
