Chapter 1 - When?

Tsurugi Kyousuke had always been in love with their soccer freak captain, Matsukaze Tenma. He's having a little trouble on confessing this to him because he doesn't know how to. This is also his first time to fall desperately in love with someone.

Tsurugi loved everything in Tenma, his smile, his laugh and his passion on playing soccer. Tenma was the reason why he's enjoying soccer today with Raimon. He knows that he needs to confess to Tenma soon but he's afraid of what Tenma's answer will be. What if Tenma rejects him? What if their friendship's broken? What will he do then?

Tomorrow, Raimon will be having a battle against Phantom 8 from Phantom Jr. High. Raimon doesn't know anything about this team because their just new but they do. Everything about Raimon is known by Phantom 8, every data and every hissatsu techniques. They know how strong it is and they know how to stop it.

Tsurugi's P.O.V.

When can I tell him about this feeling? I'm so afraid that he'll reject me and it might ruin our friendship. What if he loves someone else? Ughh, keep it together Kyousuke! You have a match tomorrow and you don't want to upset Tenma! "Tsurugi! Practice is going to start!" I looked at where the voice came from and I saw Tenma giving me his wide, soft smile. I just nodded at him and smiled back then I went to the pitch to practice with the team. Later, I'll try to confess later! If not later, maybe tomorrow after the match. You can do this!

Practice lasted about 5 hours and it's almost sun down. We went to get our things and part ways. I called Tenma to speak with him privately, it's time to tell him the truth. "What is it Tsurugi?" See you tomorrow?" I stuttered. "Sure! See ya, Tsurugi! Good night!" he shouted while running to the way where his apartment is. "Yeah! See ya, Tenma! And good night!" I shouted back at him. I saw him nod and I went to the other way to go home. Tomorrow, I'm going to make sure that tomorrow I'll confess to him after our match!

Tenma's P.O.V.

Tsurugi called me earlier because he said he wanted to talk to me and I also wanted to talk to him so I agreed. I wanted to tell him the truth of what I feel about him but I was too nervous earlier that I couldn't bring myself to do it! I'm such a coward! But................ There's still tomorrow!
